So, I suck at photoshop. I suck so much at it I don't even have it. I am SOOO bad I just have MS paint with which to hurt the world with my "photo-shopping." Here is the original picture ScottyB made for me...



Really good considering it took him like 2 mins to do. So, this is not really the best rep of the paint, but it works well anyway to put it in the mind's eye. We decided on the Orange/Graphite scheme as shown here. I think this color combination w/ the wheels looks good (yes, I now I suck).



So the question posed is "What do you think about FLAT black wheels, given the car will be orange over a DARK metalic graphite."

If so, what style/size, we are talking street use.

If not, what would be better? Anyone who would want to photoshop would be SUPER!

So while the Si is getting its slow and steady swap, I was driving Evan's 240, until that stopped starting up for me.

My sister complained that it wasn't starting. I check it out the next day, replace the plugs and it starts up fine. I drive it for the next 2 days fine (4 startups 50 miles), started with no hesitation.

Last night it wouldn't fire up again. Battery and starter are strong, however it doesn't sound like the fuel is priming. Fuel pump fuse is good. Bad fuel pump? Relay?

For those that don't know, Jess and I are moving back to Roanoke tomorrow. We're almost all loaded up. We'll be living there for at least a few months until we both have a job (Jess has to do a Bar review course and take that first) and then hope to buy a house. Maybe in Blacksburg, C-ville, Richmond... somewhere other than NOVA or Roanoke really.

So hook me up if you have a job. Or house. :lol: We should be able to come hang out more often now.... hopefully Scott and Jen can keep it real in the ATL without us!

Valentino Rossi has gotten off to a rocky start defense of his 5th Moto GP title. The season opener saw him get taken out in turn 1 and he ended up only being able to claw up to 14th place. Race 2 Rossi came back to steal a narrow victory from Nicky Hayden (.9 second) but in Race 3 he struggled from the back of the pack to finish 4th but was not in contention for the win at any time during the race.

I expect Rossi to be back with a vengeance if Yamaha has made any headway on the handling woes that the YZR-M1 developed at the end of the preseason. He's consistently shown that when he lets it all hang out he can win with a less than optimal bike.

The other big story is that for the first time in his Moto GP career, American Nicky Hayden is leading the Moto GP championship standings. A second career win has eluded him thus far and he'll be hungry to get to the top step of the podium after his 7 consecutive podium finishes (the longest current podium streak ). He is the only Honda rider on the 2006 full development version of the RC211V. All of the other riders are riding 2005 evo machines of some sort so it'll be interesting to see how they perform in comparison.
