Looks like NASA SE is throwing a discount for those willing to sign up in advance. I will be going through my weekends next year and figuring out which ones I want to do.
I am thinking the BRAND NEW NCCAR in Sept. 25/26th (they are running the track clockwise saturday, counter-clockwise sunday how cool!). And thinking about trying road atlanta, AMP (new too!), or Roebling.
For reference the NCCAR is actually a weensy bit closer than VIR for NOVA folks. 199 for a weekend at Road atlanta, amp, roebling or NCCAR? count me in!

Anyone seen anything lately and care to make a recommendation? Symphony, theatre production, whatever. Where do people ven go typically around DC for that kind of thing? Kennedy Center? I checked their schedule..looked like a whole lot of stuff you've never heard of on right now.

| Headliner cloth repair suggestions? |

Both Jess' 325 and my 318 need a little TLC before they start looking ghetto. I've heard there's a 3M product for headliners, anyone used it with luck? Is there some other route I should be going? Do I pay someone to do... what, do they replace the cloth? Staples, tape, my usual fixes are not on the table this time around. I tried some product I found at Advance a few years ago for some heavier door cloth before and wasn't impressed.

This is all I got so far:
![[Image: 318tiblue.jpg]](http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e19/ecpreston/318tiblue.jpg)
Just picked it up yesterday, it seems to be in quite good shape. I like it cause it's quite a bit nicer and more up to date than an E30, but it's E30 suspension and engine all the way. Van and bike to be sold ASAP so I can do some NASA events next year, maybe be an instructor if they'll have me. The goal is a trackable, low maintenance car that can still pull DD/toddler duty, and even Jess could drive without complaint. So it's not getting a cage or anything serious.
To do list:
Seats suck. I'll likely get some sport seats from another 3 series unless I can find something more serious that is still adjustable without being too costly.
Suspension doesn't seem too worn out, so maybe bushings can wait, but I'll probably start with some H&R/bilsteins. Zero creativity points here. Nothing special with the brakes either, just pads.
I'll get another set of wheels and track tires for cheap off another E36 or E46.
IF I get a raise and find myself with another ~$3k burning a hole in my pocket a year from now, I'll do something to the engine.
Turning it in to a 325, 328ti is tempting and high bang for the buck, but way more work than I want to do with tools I don't have. Would need a lot of lift time and I don't have one.
Supercharger breaks the budget, boost isn't my cup of tea, and I'm not sure what else it'd need for track use (heat issues?), but at least it'd be less work.
I think I'd go with a Metric Mechanic head with cams, windage tray/crank scraper, exhaust and ECU, and crank bearings when it got tired of 7k RPMs. Least power, (maybe 175ish) but it should be reliable and not much work. I should be able to keep up with some 6cyl cars at least. :dunno:
Ed, wherever you are out there, this one's for you

We're an energy management company, just got bought by Gridpoint, and are hiring quite a few people over the next couple months in Roanoke. Apparently looking for people in Arlington too. Product Managers, HR, Installation Manager are all that's been posted publicly so far:

I'll put others up if they post them, but I know there's going to be some other good stuff soon.
