Here's the non-motorcycle stuff I've got on eBay. Same story applies - am happy to end auctions early if you want to make a reasonable offer:

Fujitsu ScanSnap 1300 Passthrough Scanner
Vizio VBS200 Soundbar

I've also got a Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24"W Monitor, a Griffin RadioShark2, a 2TB Apple Time Capsule, an Airport Express, and more. That stuff will go on eBay today or tomorrow, and I'll update this list at the same time.

Everything is located in Charlottesville, VA. Shipping prices in the auctions, or you're welcome to come pick things up.

FS: 1994 Accord EX, Auto, $1k OBO
Posted by: Jake - 12-29-2012, 04:54 PM - Forum: For Sale/Trade, WTB - Replies (6)

This belongs to one of my old roommates from college. He's had it for a bunch of years, and is finally moving on. Asking $1k OBO, and needs it gone by Sunday, January 6th. If you're interested, PM me and I'll pass along his contact info. The car is in Herndon.

It's a 1994 Accord EX coupe. Steve says the EX stands for EXtreme. 2.2L 4-cylinder (I think) rated at 145 hp with VTAK, automatic. The speedometer hasn't worked since I've known Steve (so... five years?). He says it stopped working at 134k, and he thinks the car has about 150k on it now. It didn't get driven much during college, and he gets rental cars for work, so he's used it to get from Herndon to Dulles Airport, and not much else.

Has a Pioneer CD/MP3 player. He thinks the brakes may need doing soon, but he does still drive it so it's gotta be sort of solid. He sent me these pix:

'08 BMW M5 Correctional- Premier Shine
Posted by: premiershine9 - 12-28-2012, 07:34 PM - Forum: Appearance/Cosmetic - Replies (1)

Hey all- was able to work a weekend here or there and managed to squeeze a quick correctional in at the garage in H'burg

Up here is a 2008 M5 with 80K on the clock and was recently purchased by my client from the original owner who is located in Long Island.

This M has the following list of mods:
- Twin Dinan intake
- Full Meisterschaft exhaust- absolutely UNGODLY
- Carbon fiber hood
- Custom leather interior

The interior required only moderate attention to the hard plastic areas and the leather which was heavily soiled and neglected. A full interior treatment including hot water extraction of the carpets and mats was performed.

Exterior- the condition of the exterior was pretty neglected- lots of oxidation and heavy, noticeable swirling and other defects under natural light. The client and I chose to simply shoot for a 65%-75% correction level and I felt that a single step correction would do the trick- after performing some test areas I felt the Interlagos Blue was of medium hardness.

A full decon wash was performed, CG Maxi Suds 2/ citrus clean mix used in conjunction with a drop of Dawn to strip any previous LSP- the entire car was foamed down with APC beforehand- Sonax FE on the wheels, various SV and other brushes were used, lambswool mitts also

The M was pulled into my garage, dried and then clayed with a medium clay/ ONR.

After being taped up I then used my LED to inspect the condition of the paint- heavy defects and swirling around the entire body

Swirling, other defects and rain/ water spotting on the black trim clearly evident- pillars were in need of a lot of attention.

  WTB: 215/45/16 Tire Take-Off's

Seeing if anyone is pulling off some "not showing cord" 215/45/16 tires -- I think Kuhmo XS is pretty popular in this size, open to other tires in 16".

  FS: 1997 Miata
Posted by: rschumin - 12-27-2012, 08:03 AM - Forum: For Sale/Trade, WTB - Replies (3)

OK, so Santa is dropping off an S2000 for next season. That means the Miata has to go.

For sale is a 1997 Miata with 141,xxx miles. The car has power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, power windows, mirrors, cruise, AM/FM CD with door and headrest speakers. It also has leather seats and a Torsen limited slip. The soft top is almost new. The car also has a hardtop with defroster.

I added the following “optional” equipment in the last year.

Ground Control coil overs with 550 lb springs front and 350 lb springs rear. Koni yellow SA race shocks. Racing Beat 1 1/8” tubular front sway bar. Racing Beat front sway bar brace kit. The stock rear sway bar is on the car now, but I will include a Racing Beat big rear bar. 949 Racing adjustable end links front and rear.

Factory replacement brake rotors and stainless steel flexible brake lines from 949 Racing. Carbotech autocross compound brake pads front and rear.

In the engine bay there are Mazda competition motor mounts, Racing Beat High flow intake, Racing Beat Header with a Track Dog Thermal Blanket, and Magnecor 8mm wires. The timing is advanced to 14 degrees. Factory replacement clutch slave cylinder with stainless steel flexible lines from 949 Racing. There is a Koyo 37 mm aluminum radiator with Samco silicon hoses.

The car rides on Chapparal 15x7 wheels (they look like Minilites) and General all-season tires. There is also a set of 15x8 Bronze 6UL wheels from 949 Racing with used up Hankooks.

I also have a new set of factory alignment bolts and a shorty antenna that haven’t been installed. I have most of the stock parts I took off and a set of AGX adjustable shocks. They are also included.

I think $7000 is reasonable for everything or $5800 without the hard top and 6UL’s PM me if interested.

Think this thread got lost over the summer. Post up if you find a great deal on whatever as you're bombing around the web.

ODBII reader for $17.50 bought mine for 20something before and has worked fine.

  WTB: 2001 Integra wheels
Posted by: Beej - 12-23-2012, 03:03 PM - Forum: For Sale/Trade, WTB - Replies (3)

Honda's gonna Honda. :?

Woke up to see my father-in-law's wheels were stolen overnight. They were a basket weave type pattern thing, and it would be nice to replace them with the same type, but it doesn't matter too much as I don't think the car will be around much longer. I think I found a set of steelies down at a pick-a-part down in Fredericksburg, but I figure enough Integras have been in the club that it'd be worth asking if someone had a pile of wheels left hanging around.

It's a 2001 Integra sedan.

Or if anyone knows a decent junkyard in NoVA, that might help too. Thanks!
