This summer at Evan's party, I accidentally left my digital camera at his house on the floor along with an AP racing brake caliper from Channing. The camera was in a crimson padded bag and both were on the floor at the interstection of the two couches. If anybody picked it up accidentally and is wondering whose it is, it is mine and I would really like to have it back. If you would like to return it anonymously, I live at 548 Pheasant Run and if you leave it inside the screen door, I will never know. Please just return it. I find it hard to believe somebody would steal a that crappy $50 camera, especially not a member of MM. Thankyou.

So I will be at JMU the last week of September for two different conferences. Both are non-motorsport related, so I figure i'd post this up in the lounge.

I will be part of the representation for the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC, where i work) at the Business, Technology and Government/Law Enforcement Career Fair on monday september 27th. then, the next two days, i'll be attending the NGIC and JMU Future Combat Systems workshop at the college center. its open to everyone to attend, and i look forward to hearing what some of the JMU and VT professors have to say about the development of FCS. i should be staying in a hotel monday night, but i havent decided what i'm doing tuesday night. i might be convinced to go to biltmore or highlawn or alstons on tuesday night if someone can give me a place to crash at a sorta early time what with work on wednesday. my schedule is still up in the air, but i will be attending both events. i'll post more info if you guys are interested in it.

Hey folks, my name is Andrew. I found out about this place throguh Rex Elsea and I've been interested in getting more involved for a while. Now's as good a time to get involved as any, right?

I don't go to JMU, I'm a junior at GMU right now, but transferring is on my mind. Either way, I'm glad to find a group of cool car nuts to get to spend time with.m I've met one or two of you already while spending time pretending to turn a wrench or two over at Rex's place (CaptainHeneh).

I almost forgot - I do actually drive a car. Not too well, maybe, but it's a little red Honda Accord that doesn't break too often. It's always in some state of disrepair, though. I'm very interested in autocrossing and even more interested in getting out and doing some HPDS'.

Anyways, just saying hello.

I need to get replacement tires for my MSP because I have to get VA plates and the tires won't pass inspection. I am going to be buying a second set of wheels and tires strictly for auto-x, but i am unsure what tires to get for everyday driving. I just recently moved up to Fairfax and i don't think i need to worry too much about snow, but i don't know if i should look to some high performance all seasons.

Has anyone had any luck with any high performance all seasons. I was reading the reviews on tire rack and there isn't one tire that jumps out at me. i am trying to keep the cost down to around the 100 dollar range. They will be 17 inch tires.

Any opinions greatly appreciated.

Hi! I'm Julie, better known as Rex's fiance. After hanging out with Jack, Dave, Andrew and Rex all day yesterday I decided to join. Even though Rex has been telling me to join for a while now. Actually I've been interested in MM for some time now since I met Dave. Being a girl who was always in the garage helping my dad, I have a slight interest in cars. Though I don't want to do much to my car (98 Cavalier). I have wrenched a decent amount on Rex's 240, Dave's 240 and been the general tool getter for other projects such as Jack's brake job. Hope you all don't mind having a girl around cause I'm thinking of joining MM. Anyway off to class for now.

A friend and I are in the middle of parting out a '89 944 s2 and a '78 924. The 944 is essentially a shell now. We only have the shell, the rear end, beefy aluminium control arms. The wheels and brakes have been sold. The 924 hasn't been touched yet but it does share a lot of common parts, better parts for VW's. The 944 motor is still here. It's a 3.0 I4. Super long stroke, hearty as hell. Damn, this should be in the WTB page. Sorry.
