Today is the big day for the AMA Red Bull Supermoto A-Go-Go in Las Vegas. For those that might not know, Supermoto is basically a race that mixes asphalt and a motocross course for a unique challenge to road racers and motocrossers alike.

Had I known this event was free to attend I might have finagled my way into flying out there. Might try for next year though.

Oh yeah, the game is out and with extra money from selling some helms manuals i bought it. I currently drive a 240...just started. Anyway the game is pretty good. Obviously graphics wise it kicks ass, but i like how they actually incorporated some tuning this time. Dyno is nice, and as said you can tune pretty much all parts you get. There isnt that much variety in parts, but it helps you can adjust them.
I have not really got far enough into the game to give it a rating, but so far so good =-). OH and btw, for any of you who played the last one, drifting has been made much more competitive now.

Just thought id throw this out here. I bought the game the day it came out, played it pretty much 3 days straight, about 6 hours a day, and realized that I cant play this game anymore. It absolutely kicks ass, but i literally did no school work for three days and missed 3 classes =-0. Anyway im gonna sell it on ebay for like 30 bucks hopefully, game costs 50 new. Id sell it to anybody in here for like 25, which is what id get from trade in to store, if they took it, which they cant because it comes with cd account key. Ill give all my account info if anybody decides to pick this up, it comes with two lvl 10 elfs, one mage, one scout.....

I found this little snippet on autoextremist.com (note: Although sometimes their opinion pieces are on point other times they are utterly idiotic).
Quote:Choosing to move on from its crushing disappointment with its Jaguar F1 program, Ford unveiled its new World Rally Championship challenger last week. Ford, through Ford of Europe, announced a major commitment to the World Rally Championship last Tuesday, entering into a four-year agreement with Malcolm Wilson's British-based M-Sport company, which has operated Ford's WRC program for the past eight years...
The commitment ensures Ford's continued presence at the top level of world rallying with the Focus. The existing Focus RS WRC will be the Company's challenger in the 2005 championship, but an all-new Focus RS WRC rally car (below), based on the new road car which goes on sale in Europe later this month, will be introduced from 2006 onward, after a full season of development in 2005.
What happens next, with French car manufacturers Peugeot and Citroen both announcing their withdrawal last Thursday from the World Rally Championship at the end of 2005, is anyone's guess. It means that only two manufacturers (Ford and Subaru) will be fully committed to the WRC for 2006, with Skoda and Mitsubishi (scheduled to compete in '05) very big question marks for '06.
Here are some pics of the Junior WRC Fiesta and the 2006 Focus RS, based on the all-new Focus that Europe already has but we won't get for at least a couple of years if ever.

Here's something new I found out, Eagle One NeverDull Metal Polish is great at getting out the yellow haze common on plastic headlights. My headlights are so purty now.

Talked to an old friend of mine over the past weekend and he told me he's selling his '99 prelude to help fund his Tahoe. He doesn't have any pics taken, but if anyone is interested I could give you his contact info and all that so you could meet up with him or whatever. It has 75,000 miles and the only mod that's been done is a CAI. He tells me that the tranny and clutch are still in good shape, for whatever that's worth, and he's kept it well maintained. He said he was looking for around $11,500.
I dunno, thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone was into this type of car. Let me know if you're interested and want his digits for more info. Oh, and it's black.

Found this posted on the Cobb forum. Pretty mean wagon I must say ! Put down 466.6 horsepower at the wheels and 400ish lb/ft of torque.

Just that list of mods is extremely impressive to me. This guy really did it right~
edit: None of the pics are working for me atm, maybe they'll be up again later.
