We're all car fanatics here so I know how picky everyone is about their cars, about both good and bad things! I know most of you well enough to know what you like about your cars, but what don't you like?? What bugs you just a tiny bit, or even bugs the everliving Heck out of you about your car on a daily basis?
I like my car, but I'll start:
1) Seatbelt chime when it's not plugged in. This was addressed in another thread.
2) The navi, which I use 15+ times a day for my job, is not always good at being spot on. I've really got to know what I'm looking for. Also, I hate having to punch the city in every time when it's in the same city.
3) Great highway mileage but craptacular city / highway mix. 93 octane to fill it up.
4) The vinyl part of the leather seats is already wrinkly as hell and cracking. Both driver and passenger.
5) Really loud rattle near OEM sub in rear decklid. Common problem with this car.
6) OEM pads dust like crazy. My wheels are dirty 3 days after cleaning them.
7) The car is way bigger than it needs to be. I'm still not used to driving a 4 door this big after driving the IS300 for so long.
8 ) Something about the factory suspension setup eats tires like it is its job. I had my alignment redone when I put new tires on recently and it was bareeeeellyyy out of spec... but if you saw the tires you would think I had romped it on a dirtbike course.
 How about y'all?

Id have to say how loud the exhaust and tires are on the highway is my biggest pet peeve.
Lifter Tick, Oh and how the rear hatch doesn't always completely release, to where I have to go to the lever twice to open the hatch.
Other wise im Golden
FOCUS
Cant think of anything I dislike.......
-Needs 2 more gears (should have gotten the 6 speed auto in the malibu)
-That square angled bracket stab you in the ass piece still gets me every once in a while
-feels loose, at best (the SS)
-needs rims
-needs better brakes

Previa (I had VERY low expectations and requirements, and I got what I wanted and expected, but I think I can rightfully complain about these few things):
-Impressively terrible gas mileage for a 4-cyl pushing around an egg. If I'm LUCKY, I get close to 18mpg, and I usually drive it with max fuel economy as my goal.
-Headlights are also surprisingly terrible. I went to aim them up a bit to find that they are unadjustable.
-Driver door is left to lock, right to unlock. All the other doors and hatch are the other way around, lefty loosey, righty tighty like most locks. I have to think waaaay too much to get in and out of the thing.
-Wiper control and delay ring are also "backwards". Or maybe I'm used to it being "backwards" in BMWs? I don't know. But I never get what I want out of it.
-One of my few "requirements" when I was looking for one was working cruise control. It broke like a month after I bought it. :?
-Annoying, loud, kind of embarrassing and pathetic whistle from exhaust when you get on the "boost".
E46 325:
-It is leaking water from the coolant reservoir and won't fix itself.
-SOMETHING is up, with either the clutch engagement, suspension, or engine management that makes driving smoothly in 1st or shifting to 2nd way harder than it should be. If I manage to take off smoothly from a light, it's like, party time, I'm the man!! I'll likely never figure it out.
-There is some ominous high pitched whine, my best guess is from one of the belt driven accessories, that it makes sometimes, usually when it's cold out. I'm hopeful that it doesn't fail catastrophically anytime soon.
-I can't believe how much space a damn car seat and stroller takes up in a 4dr sedan.
-Rear window tint sucks when you're backing up at night.
-I wish the traction/stability control was OFF by default.
The only thing that stops a bad guy with a van is a good guy with a van
right now my main complaint is not being able to drive on salted roads

miata:
no real cupholders.
first gear is 'loose' and jerky. which sucks a lot in traffic.
other small issues of a 10 year 120k mile car.
inspires me to drive like a jackass, especially in the wet
rear view mirror is mounted a little too low, especially for taller drivers.
truck:
pain in the ass to park.
gas mileage.
side tow mirrors create HUGE blind spots. luckily there is a smaller fisheye mirror underneath them and thats ALL I use
mirrors stick out farther than barack obama's ears. Ive smacked them on things especially driving in DC
Madden Wrote:right now my main complaint is not being able to drive on salted roads You mean your main complaint isn't the $2xxx repair bill you have for it already?? Haha I'm teasin you bro

hmm...
holes in the trunk from previous owner putting spoiler on
assorted chips in the paint on the wheels - they stick out like a sore thumb
there is something wrong with the sunroof - it is rubbing on something when it slides back
brakes - yeah they are pimptastic, but its a pain in the ass that I can't find wheels to fit over them for winter tires, and i've yet to find cheap 18s that fit over them either.
the paint is in surprizingly blech shape - probably a solid detailing will remedy, but im lazy
go pedal is way to tempting
Loud
No cupholders
Auto
Side of the seat bolster is showing wear from people using it as a handle to get in and out of the car.
Top stays dirty and I can't find anything that will clean it.
Top leaks when you wash the car or it rains really hard.
Gets stuck in parking spaces during snow.
2010 Dodge Ram 1500

My 2008 Corolla:
-Car payments suck.
-No independent rear suspension
-lack of power, although I do enjoy the badass fuel mileage, so powers not a big deal
-I backed into a pole and kind of fucked up the rear bumper
-And last but not least, if I took the S badging off of my car, removed the stock bumper spoilers and sideskirts and what do you get? A perfect car for a grandma.
2014 Tacoma TRD Sport Double cab
2017 Toyota iA/Mazda 2
Grand Prix:
-Brakes fade in stop and go highway driving
-Leaks in trunk from poorly repaired accident damage
-Random rattles in the dashboard and passenger side door panel.
SHO
-Clutch never fully dis-engages.
-Transmission synchros are worn from 170k of use and the above issue - grinds when cold and usually hard to get into 1st.
-AC is pathetic due to a R134 conversion
-Leaks oil to the tune of 1qt per 1000 miles from the every seal on the motor.
-Clunk in front right suspension that wont go away.
Talon
-Paint and body damage that only a mother could love
-It's too small for me - long trips make my body scream.
-DJ-style exhaust leaks under the hood (coming from some part of the manifold or turbo).
-No AC
-Alarm that randomly arms and disarms itself even with the door sensors unpluged and the door lock fuse removed.
-Hatch leaks
And I still love them all.
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.
