Sunday 27 July - Fountainhead

Mtn bikers, get up, get out. We're going riding. I'd like to be on the trail by 10am. We'll do all the loops in the park, but since there's a cut back to the parking lot at each loop, you can pansy out at will.

Post in if you're in, and post in if you've got a mtn bike and you're out for a lame excuse so we can make fun of you.

It'll take us about 2.5 hours, I bet, and last time was 2 in 1hr, so I'm going for 5... but it's a lot more technical... so I'll up it to 7.

:-D

If anybody's interested, we could also retire after the ride to the water park.

Ill be at summit. Bring a camera and see if you can get some action shots of RJ eating it. Should be plenty of opportunities

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

OK - new date, 26 July. I realized that I'll be out of town on the 19th... oops.

I know it should be a go for myself, RJ, and Evan. Mike, Ole?

I'd like to, but it would be just another ride - I'd rather ride fountainhead with you donkeys (I still dont like you guys or anything).

Go Clipless Wrote:The trail is very rooty and technical in spots requiring your full attention and providing for few breaks. Many of the downhills lead straight to a technical climb with little opportunity to get your momentum going.

The bike is light.....me though, not so much. I guess I should ride more

Maybe '09...

It did get me motivated to start clearing the underbrush in the wooded parts of our lot to make a practice / workout trail.
