MM Opinion on car for sale

I am selling a 1992 Nissan 240sx SE. The car is Dark Green with brown/tan interior. The car has 218,000 miles with a rebuilt engine 60,000 ago. The car runs great and the body is in great shape. There is some fading on the hood and some rust on the hatch underneath the spoiler. I have removed the carpet and rear seats. The car currently has a Cobra Clubman seat in the drivers spot. I still have all interior parts and seats. The car is mostly stock with minor modifications. I purchased the car one year ago for the purpose of racing it at the Hastings roadcourse. I raced it there one time and have since had a child and no longer have time to go. I am looking to get $2500 for the car but I am open to offers.

-batter moved to hatch
-newer Goodyear assurance tires
-Ebay front and rear tower braces
-2 cobra clubmen racing seats
-new brake pads
-all new fluids
-mp3 player

Opinions? I wouldn't pay over 2k. I am going to go take a close look/compression check it on Sunday.

Are you using it as a DD?

Bucket seat + daily driver could not be very much fun.

I sold my 92 SE to ziich for $2500 and it only had 160k miles (and some new parts like pillowball strut rods)
id probably go $2k max

would make a fun tool around car, but i wouldnt want to DD it. Fiberglass buckets arent too bad, but steel frame buckets suck ass.

Come on guys....it is coming with the stock interior/seats. My commute is less than a mile round trip and my only problem with driving the STi on that kind of a commute is that I end up warming it up for longer than I end up driving it. If I can't handle the seat I'll switch it out.

I plan on hitting up the local track and for a daily on any day I deem it too cold to bother with the STi...which is half the fucking year here in Nebraska.

It will also give me the abilit to take the Subaru off the road for extended periods of time. There are a lot of little projects I want to do, and I work slow as hell.

Who wouldn't want this as a beater or occasional trak slut?

Considering today's market, it's probably worth the price. Lowball him at 2k and walk up with cash in hand, you might be driving it away. It sounds like a good buy and it seems to be in pretty good shape. Not sure if its a concern, but I used to see 28mpg in my old 240 back when it was a daily driver.
Brown interior is heinous, but otherwise sounds pretty solid. Rust under the spoiler happens on virtually every 240 if it has one.

also, if he's not willing to go that low. tell him he can keep the racing seats...if you want it as a daily, then racing seats would just be a hassle anyways. then you're almost guaranteed the 2k price...
