This kid is so funny, I love the little boys with daddys car or daddys present who talk shit and have no idea what they are talking about. The funny shit is in the details... listen to what hes saying lol
Some kid on vortex videotaped it, we've been laughing about it ever since.
NOTE: Im not encouraging street racing, this is just a funny video I found.

not really funny... just st00pid. what I find funny is how you feel you have to put that special note in Talkin about daddy's car... mike, you know that kid who couldn't drive and brought his dad to the honda-tech meet at chipotle... well he was at the thing on friday alone with daddy's m5 and almost backed into another car... lol. rich kids.

his name is jake, and he is a pretty cool kid. should i laugh at his mistakes (almost backing in to a car) because his parents happen to have a lot of money? he isn't a ricer, he doesn't street-race, so i really have no reason to call him a "rich kid."

lol, along with the supercharged s10 who rolled up with the 12 year olds and felt the need to continuously take his engine up to 3k+ before easing the clutch out for reverse and first  I smell clutch!!!!
Yea, what I find amazing is that these kids dont kill themselves, I mean look at the kids in the video, theyre all like 15 and 16 years old.... glad I wasnt that dumb at my age!

that video is a prime reason for not wanting an m3...

wtf r u talking about!!??? i was criticized for bieng ignorant (not saying i didnt deserve it), but whats with the bs generalizations... (lol. rich kids) it sux when someone has talent or interest and cant do much about it cus they cant afford it... but the truth is a lot of kids from wealthy backgrounds can race pretty well cus theyve had the advantages of being around/owning some pretty hot vehicles... also the lack of fear of crashing daddys m5 (cus he'll just buy himself a new one) enables more risk taking and therefore more practice in tight situations...
I believe theres more honor in buying your own ride, modifying, maintaining and racing it but financial difficulties can seriously hinder a racers performance...
jmualfaracer Wrote:but the truth is a lot of kids from wealthy backgrounds can race pretty well cus theyve had the advantages of being around/owning some pretty hot vehicles...
I see very few of them (young guys with expensive cars that they did not pay for) at the track.
I'm sure they could become very good drivers given that having alot of disposable income provides an excellent opportunity to learn how to race (real racing, not stunna street race in traffic on I-95 bullshit). But they're too busy masquerading around as the shizzle dizzle in daddy's car impressing high school girls that wouldnt give him time of day if it werent for the money.
There are some guys I know that come to the track that have had some help (financially) with their cars and racing and they are for the most part just like the rest of us - cool, laid back and fun to be around - not the irresponsible asshat with no accountability that you see with the street ricer crowd.

wow, for once we actually agree on something... just to clear up my point a litlle bit... when i meant rich kids in no way was I referring to people like the dumfuks in the video... that irresponsible shit isnt worth the time we all took to watch it... although we probably all did some pretty stupid shit in high school, the "children" in the video were retarded...
stupid shit in high school? nahhhh
- mike, who thinks a "stupid shit i did in high school" thread might be pretty entertaining.

The problem is that due to a lack of responsibility and personal accountability that it seems most of them do not outgrow this behavior after high school.
Example: Teckademics (sp?)

never seen the M3 around but i know the shop that tuned out the RSX.... i watched it get dynoed.... i know the numbers and they are a secret... lets just say he rsx probably wasnt running "that" hard.... and he has since had the bottom replaced (BOV stuck closed one day and grenaded the block).... that is the same RSX turbo that was for sale on HT not but a couple months ago. with just replacing the bottom end and getting some minor work done to it.... he somehow produced 15% more HP then when they first ran the car. anyone that says its a "stage 1" is lying... its made to looking like a begining kit but its putting out far from stage one numbers. not that "stage one" means jack shit. if anyone is the rich pretty boy its the rsx driver.... i dont know where he gets his money from but hes a good guy (for being a street racing toolbox).
That was filmed right along Old Keene Mill Road in Springfield right before the mixing bowl.
