Ok, so my master plan is slowly falling into place for my IS. I didn't really want to make an entire "project" thread for it because I won't be doing a whole lot of performance upgrades, mostly just cosmetic / comfort things. Now that the angel eyes have arrived, my next focus is on a set of summer rims. I LOVE my current OEM rims, but the previous owner curbed them all to hell and they will make for better winter rims in the long run.
As you know, being the rice king of bling, I've been looking at several alternatives for rims for the IS. Anything black with a chrome lip is always good, but my brother has that (5Zigen FN01RCs) on his Lancer and I'd like to do something different. Here's what I've come up with:

Gianelle chrome V5s ~$245 / wheel for the 18x8
Here's another pic of the same wheel, black with chrome lip (I don't really like the look of this):

Black with chrome lip is ~$370 / wheel for 18x8
Now, as much as I love the ghetto look of chrome rims, they most likely would get fucked up really quickly because I have to drive in gravelly / muddy areas quite a bit. My job doesn't always give me the most ideal driving conditions. So along came this deal:

Guy is local and I could probably lowball a bit more than what he's asking since I'd save him the hassle of shipping them. These would be a great candidate for powdercoating gloss black or even rattle-canning if I was feeling industrious. I think those 18s would look so good on my car, as the '01s have a lower stance from the factory. Here's a pic of them on a 250/350:

What do you guys think? If I could pick up the OEM IS350 rims for like $700 or less it would be a steal, considering they're like ~1500 brand new.
