F'ing SCCA classing. Y'all blow. Will this be a points event? I know Ryan doesn't want to deal with points but I'm more than willing. If we implement them I think more people may be interested and we could offer some cheesy trophies at the end of the year.

April 11 is Easter, I wont be able to make the AutoX.
Awww shit you're right, I'm probably out too. But if it somehow fills up I'd make the sacrifice to come down and help/run.

Who maintains that website?
There are some errors on it.

Why are the drivers being allowed to tech their own cars? Isn't that dangerous? :?:
I understand it might save time, but that opens the door for someone to cheat and hide their mods. Or worse race with an unsafe car.

This is my doing, so....
Most of the cars are driven to the event. If the wheels havent fallen off, throttle cable stuck or the engine hasnt overheated and puked coolant everywhere on their 1-2 hour trip, then it wont happen on course. Its a huge hassle, and its really a formality because there's not really anything to find given the 'quick' tech thats usually done.
If we give them a tech sheet and tell them to go over their car and then bring it back, we're accomplishing the same thing.

It saves alot of time. And its not the job at tech to make sure the car is properly classed and legal... if there is something wrong with the car, then its up to the competitors (in that class) to protest. Do we have a protest procedure? Not really, but i'm sure me and G can inflict some pain on any cheating bastards

WOW... mmsports.org is SOOO much better than nasaracing.net. You can't even get to the registration from anywhere on the main site!! They should fix that so the nasax gets more publicity. Now it can't get any traffic from the nasa main site.
Can I cross post this to NASIOC?
I am interested in coming. The Nov 15 one was a blast. It all depends whether or not my gf has something else to keep herself occupied that day
