Hey ya'll.

I just wanted to introduce myself before randomly posting on your forum. I go to VT and am in CCVT (car clubt Virgina Tech). I live in Stafford. I've only heard great things about your club (unlike those oova's)

CCVT is more drag oriented and you guys seem to be more track oriented...track > drag in my opinion.

Anyway, I'm in Jersey doing an intern and get bored at work so I sure you'll be hearing from me on occasion.

Also, the CCVT bi-annual car show is coming up and ya'll are welcome to come down and enter. I will get the info for ya.

glad to see that you're also more track oriented, we also have our draggers that are pretty quick (one would be quicker if he had traction and anything other than FWD [cough]travis[/cough])

i'd like to take a visit down to tech for the show if anyone else would be interested...pending work schedule and school work load

i used to be on the ccvt forum until the server took a dump, haven't been back to the site in a while.

Yeah we'd love to do some joint events (karting, autox, track day) with CCVT and CAV and possible CSCC (Clemson). We've kind of suggested it several times but no one seems too gung-ho about the idea. I don't know if its just that VT and UVA don't see us as rivals or they're just disorganized or what. Maybe we need to take the first step and set things up so all they have to do is show up.

Honestly, between the 3 clubs we could swing a track day. We could probably swing one by ourselves actually but it'd be more fun if we got everyone out there.

Well, UVA and VT had a little event awhile back that let to both sides being pissed off over some rule interpretations or something. I dunno the details cause I wasn't there (nor do I really care).

I think we should have joint club events that don't involve a winner or trophies...just have them for shit talking rights and fun. I told the UVA guys this too.

CCVT is pretty damned organized. Whoever is in charge here should PM me their contact info and I'll get it to CCVT officers (I'll prolly be an officer next year).

As I mentioned, I'm currently in shitty Jersey till May doing an intern...yes she is so HOTTT!
