I would like to attend. Need to check out scheduling.

Newb question: I noticed that it stated that it was a championship autocross, can anyone attend or is it limited to those in a championship points race?

Open to anyone. They just say that to differentiate it from a test n tune.

Hmmmmm I might come. I'll be home that weekend so I could possibly swing by to watch for a bit on my way back to campus.

Doesn't look like there's a lot of interest, but I thought I'd let you know Justin....it looks like Street Wars (which is my drag race) will be rained out on Friday. We will most likely have to reschedule it for Saturday. We'll have a Muscle Street race (bracket race for street legal cars only) and open test and tune (for everybody) from 12 to 5 on Saturday with gates opening at 10. I have no idea if you have any interest at all or if you'll even be driving down the day before the AutoX. But I just thought I'd let you know if you're curious to see how your car will do on the 1/4 mile. Smile

What are the arrive and drive chances (never been to a NASA autox)?

I'm still figuring my realtor/looking-at-houses agenda out for this weekend, but if I don't have anything scheduled for the weekend, I'd like to show up for this.

They don't turn away any walkups. Just don't show up 10 min before the drivers meeting, so they aren't rushed to get your info into the computer. I'd say show up at 10 or a lil before. If you do come look for the white hatch, Should be parked near the tent where registration is, or look for Dave in his Blue WRX hatch.

Gates open @ 8am
Reg & tech open @ 10am
Course walk @ 10:30am
Drivers meeting @ 11:00am
Heat 1 @ 12:00pm (heat 3 drivers work)
Heat 2 @ TBA (heat 1 drivers work)
Heat 3 @ TBA (heat 2 drivers work)
Cars off course by 5:30pm
Gates close @ 6:00pm
