In order for this to happen the Constitution would need to be amended. In order for the Constitution to be amended it requires an agreement by a two-thirds supermajority of Congress and then to be ratified by three-fourths of states (38 out of 50). Seems highly unlikely.
yeah. But hey, Guantanamo bay got closed, right? Wait, it didn't?
Everyone who brings up term limits seems to have never read Article V, Trump included.
BUT, this is at least the first time someone is talking about it. It's refreshing, even if I think it's infeasible and maybe not a great idea anyway.

There is already such a ban on flag officers going to work for contractors after they retire. There is a 1 year moratorium on soliciting business with their former organization, and a 2 year ban on getting involved with any specific contract they were involved with before. Contractors hire them, put them on the bench, pay them handsomely while they wait out the ban. Even if this is implemented it will have little to no effect.

Read a comical FB post this morning, blaming Johnson voters for Clinton losing.....
With that logic you can blame Trump/Stein/Harambe/Mickey Mouse voters as well.
And apparently in that same post the only people that voted for Johnson did so for legalized Marijuana.....like it was a bad thing?!?!?

Considering Johnson got 0 electoral votes I'm gonna go with "you're smokin' crack, FB person..."

It's not like Hillary still didn't win the popular vote without those votes at all either

Considering Johnson got 0 electoral votes I'm gonna go with "you're smokin' crack, FB person..." Johnson not getting any electoral votes has nothing to do with answering the question of whether he affected the election results. If Johnson took enough votes that would have gone to Clinton in some of the close states, she would've gotten those electoral votes instead of Trump.
Nevertheless, the third party candidates may have changed the result in maybe one or two states, but bottom line is that Clinton lost several big states she needed to win by not insignificant margins.

That was more my point. Johnson did not deliver florida, north carolina, pennsylvania, michigan and ohio to Trump.
Clinton did that, and with a bow on them.

This is our future. Beyond who our president is for the next term this scares me more than anything about America. Why are kids so weak now? Do parents now really not give a shit about raising their kids with grit?

I'll point you to why. It's actually genuinely scary for some students:
Edit: Not to mention how some parents don't even accept their children as they are. Can you not put yourself in a minorities shoes? What if you had friends that you are genuinely worried for? People aren't allowed to be upset?
I get it. People need to relax and stay strong but people can't cry for a bit then move on together? Is that not a thing?

I get that...to a point. I get that people are shocked and change is always scary.
But like I've got friends who are literally and genuinely afraid that some jackbooted brownshirt is going to round them up in the middle of the night and send them off to straight-camp. It's absurd. That shit ain't gonna happen and if it do, I've got a cell phone full of people ready to spit on their hands and hoist the black flag over it. You don't like the result? That's cool. Do something other than be a big tittybaby about it. Write your congressman, volunteer, work to create a proactive environment, one that makes the rights of all americans so entrenched in the fabric of the nation that any attempt to remove them would be the literal unraveling of it. Curling up into a ball and moaning that YOUR statist prick lost and a different statist prick won does no one any good and makes you (the royal you, not anyone specific here) look like a fool.

![[Image: Mike_Pence,_official_portrait,_112th_Congress.jpg]](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c9/Mike_Pence,_official_portrait,_112th_Congress.jpg) If you're to the point of tears over who got elected as president and needed to be handed tissues and hot chocolate you need a little introspection. And you also need to really educate yourself about what would actually have to happen for you to be legitimately oppressed in America today. One man taking office is not it.
Don't cry about who got elected for president, nobody is going to bang down your door and steal your kids, my God what is wrong with you peasants

Lee can be super abrasive but I agree with him.
If you're angry, that's good. Channel it into something productive, constructive, into making the world a better place. Anger about injustice has resulted in a lot of positive change in the world, and there's plenty of change yet to go around.
But if you're reduced to a pile of tears and skinny jeans and manbun and snot over the prospect of 4 years of a potentially bad president then it's time to grow up, little deary. The world's a scary place and no one is gonna look out for you but you.
