Spaces for pregnant women aren't really an entitlement or a sign of the wussification of America to me. It's just businesses trying to make a nice gesture towards pregnant women that they hope will be appreciated and result in more business. When someone tries to make pregnancy spaces the law of the land, that's when you should be worried.

I never said I have a problem with other people getting perks I don't get. I have no problem with people getting a perk because they earned it (military, frequent flier status) or because they didn't have a choice and need the help (handicapped). It seems silly to me that the only 12 spaces in the entire parking lot that are open right before dinnertime at a Harris Teeter are reserved for pregnant people instead of handicapped people, or in lieu of that the general population. What I do agree with is G's comment about the reasoning for it, that's no surprise. HT is a client of ours and they are legitimately scared of Publix's move into this market because they are getting dominated.
