JMU Turns Left - NASCAR Edition

For those who are unaware, JMU Sports has teamed up with BK Racing (team owner is a 78 Alum) to sponsor driver Matt DiBenedetto's car. Looks like it will be on campus on Sept 9th and 12th for photo opps. Are we involved in any facet of this? Have any of the officers reached out to BK Racing or the owner, Ron Devine, or JMU Sports to see how we may be able to get involved? Maybe they will throw an MM decal on there for fellow Dukes and gear heads alike? Maybe a tour of BK Racing's facility? Buehler?

A tour of the Facility would be pretty dope, and it'd be pretty sweet to have DiBenedetto or Define give a talk or something.

Charlotte ain't that far, I bet our BangBus privs could be returned if you were headed to Charlotte to see the car slash have an alum walk you through his business. Has anyone tried to contact BK Racing or anyone on the Athletics department? (Since I think that's the actual sponsor, not JMU itself).

We've been looking into ways to contact them. I'm not sure on the whole situation, but we haven't had much success so far.

Is the athletic department really involved? If so, my brother is very close with Jeff Bourne and his family (AD). Could be worth a shot.

Alright, well I can speak to my brother about seeing if he thinks there is a way for him to position it. I used to be much closer with them since my old roommate (and Joey's too) Jason was their son (yes, Jason Bourne). Was at their house pretty much every other day, but we had a falling out and haven't spoken since senior year. I'll let you guys know.
