Man re-reading that Great Hate thread makes me just as angry as it did back when I was President. I feel like the club as come a long way in terms of student/alumni relations since then. It really was a pretty heated time.

I'll just say this: Following all of the Great Hate shit we formed a much stronger relationship. Despite what may be said in that old thread, I could see Gerald, RJ, Evan, Kaan, or most any of those guys today and we would chat just like old friends do. I harbor no hard feeling towards any of them and I sincerely hope they don't either. I consider all of them good friends of mine and I greatly respect all of them. We all came out of the Great Hate with a new understanding and respect of everyone's expectations. Except for whoever Andy is, I'll throw hands with that guy any day.

I agree with Goodspeed, this should be the last that is said of the Great Hate.

Or that time I went with Colton and his Jeep group on Valentine's day to Flag Pole and Chip rode with me. You can't tell from the video, but this is a steep stretch of pure ice 100 yards long. We're heading up slowly and suddenly a 4Runner in front of Colton starts sliding backwards down the slope at 10+ MPH. I yell on the CB for everyone to back up and we all get out of the way, thus killing out momentum. Well, we were all stuck on this ice for over an hour while Colton tried to move. Every time he'd spin his tires, he'd slide closer to the edge and the 50 foot drop down the mountain side. I've never been so scared in my life. The whole group stopped and got out to watch in the blistering cold. When people would walk by my truck, they'd have to hold onto my truck to not slip and fall and sometimes my truck would slide and inch or two. One guy slipped and slid all the way under my truck. Colton got winched up, then the wench broke and he slid back down. Butt hole = puckered. Eventually he got up, and the whole group behind me decided to back DOWN the ice sheet mountain slope instead of going up. From one danger to another. Of course the Jeep guys were okay, but it took a crew or 5 dudes spotting me to get my boat turned around on the mountainside. Chip was so sure that I'd drive over the edge to my death that he stayed out of the truck until we get turned around.

I remember this was the cruise where Pierce decided to drift pretty much every corner of 33 in his 135i, nearly losing it on the West Virginia side and puckering me up something fierce.
