Any recommendations for a new android tablet, 7 to 9in. My 1st gen Nexus 7 is not cutting it anymore.

Looking at a Galaxy Tab S and Nvidia Shield Tablet. Any other thoughts.

I have the Tab Pro 8.4 and enjoy it. I'm actually surprised by how pleased I was with it on a recent three week trip overseas. If you're okay with spending the extra money, the Tab S seems like a good choice.

Yeah I looked at the dell....

Fastest tech decision I ever made, picked up the Tab S 8.4. It's like a giant S5, and I'm OK with that.

Got BestBuy to price match my corp discount.... $329 + tax.

My nexus 10 has been pretty great. Sort of hard to find now and a lot of people dont dig 10 inch tablets but i like it

I think its time TV went through a bit of a revolution. Current advances are a diminishing return. Curved displays? 4k? All of it is trying to innovate in a box. Thats why I think 4k is gimmicky because it doesnt strike me as big of a jump from SD to HD. 3D had a good idea but the technology wasnt there to make it has good as it could've been.

As long as my satellite provider pipes in 1080i for the most part and my PS4 plays 1080p at best, any new technology is pretty gimmicky. I never even got on the bluray bandwagon to be honest, I'm not the type of person who buys that type of content.
