The auto rifle changes annoy me. Too good at long range? What auto rifle have people been using? Doctor Nope is horrible at long range but rips short to medium range. If they nerf my auto rifle I will be pretty salty about it; it's hard enough to use but great when used well. Personally, I think shotguns are too weak at close range, in PvE anyway.

What they NEED to do is improve the damage taken by Titans. There is no reason why a tank class should take the same amount of damage as the other two, or in many cases die faster. A Warlock or Hunter class should not have the same amount of armor as a Titan.

The other classes don't have the same amount of armor or recovery. The Hunter and Warlock start out with less Armor than a Titan but the Warlock recovers much more quickly and the Hunter is significantly more agile. It's just that on the hard PvE stuff some of the enemy weapons cut through you like butter no matter how upgraded your armor/defense stat is.

Mmm I dunno, Matt's Hunter has almost identical armor to mine at the same level now. When he gets an exotic armor piece I bet he will be neck and neck with me...and I already have a few of my legendaries and exotic helm almost maxed out from shards. Apparently a lot of other people are complaining about Titans being underpowered, especially in PvP. I would just like to see a significant increase in damage taken, at the very least from melee attacks. It would stand to reason that a mob hitting a piece of plate armor with a blade would do less damage than leather or cloth that Hunters or Warlocks wear.

Really, there are Titan players saying the Titan is underpowered for PvP? Did they nerf it since the beta? It certainly doesn't seem underpowered to me. I've seen people complain about the Defender subclass but any support class is going to be a bit underpowered if you don't adjust your play style for it being a support class.

I'll have to check your armor levels in game next time. I know Titans start out with the highest armor rating but depending on how you outfit your abilities I know a Hunter can at least get close to the Titan's base level of armor. Does the Titan not have any armor upgrades in its skill tree?

I do think that the Titan does have a little bit of a disadvantage in boss fights due to the lack of a ranged super but honestly I feel like using supers against the actual boss is not a good strategy either way.

I have to say I was disappointed in the amount of armor for Titans. I envisioned a much more stout class that could take some punishment and still come out okay. IMO, they really can't take that much at all.

I also think the Titan class is kinda a waste, since there's really no need to work together. Maybe I'm just not doing the right stuff, but I feel like the Defender subclass is useless in everything except capturing a waypoint in Control.

Agree here, supers are for mobs, the only change I'd like to see is being able to shoot out of the ward of dawn (even at some kind of penalty...maybe remove your element damage?) otherwise, it's pretty shit. It doesn't even work well as an emergency hidey hole, since you're often in the situation of a wizard on the outside raining impotent fury on your ward of dawn...but a hallowed night on the inside, wrecking your shit. Maybe instead of shooting out of, enemies inside incur void damage?

I dunno. I was raaaaaaaaaging last night, since I was on a Kill Order mission with mattmatt, and literally had just nailed Riksis to the wall when I got the "jackrabbit" error. Mattmatt got the reward, I didn't.

Womp womp. Got my helmet and plate, though, well into level 24:

Yeah Wu and I played some PvP for the yellow shotgun bounty last night and was wrecking kids and I don't usually play in the crucible. The Titan "shoulder charge" was absurdly money and Fist of Havoc is definitely pretty overpowered. But really most things are equalized in PvP in terms of armor / damage so that was never my complaint. I would argue in PvE there aren't many real benefits to playing the Titan class, as it was traditionally envisioned as a tanking class.

Congrats Rexy!! You have had some bad luck lately, looks like it is turning around!

Aaaand definitely not a reason to buy a new console. I enjoyed the original quite a bit, but this didn't strike me as anything different. For the first time, I can really see the difference in 60Hz versus 30Hz and the choice to go 30 was a poor one. The game doesn't feel all that smooth. The graphics are decent, but I was expecting the jaw-dropping visuals seen in the cutscenes. Nope, those are just renderings.

I'll still likely get it because I'm a car nut and I'm bored with F5, but this title is no reason to jump to next-gen.

In Destiny news, life is pretty good. All I was missing was a legendary or exotic special weapon. Through regular play I ended up finishing my exotic bounty so go a shiny new shotgun. Forced me to put away my exotic machine gun, but I have a legendary rocket or MG to take its place.

What now? Meh. I could farm ascendant mats. I probably will, but I think that can all be done in about 30 minutes per day + 2 hours spread across the week so it'll be nice to have the spare time back.

Mike, I did that shotgun quest too and I like it more than I thought I would! Super hard to control on full auto but awesome when you do...especially in the crucible haha

I'm def behind most everyone, although I only play like twice a week. I have quite a few upgrades for my armor that I can't buy because I don't have enough materials. For better or worse, I can't be bothered to collect them.

Need to pick up another controller so I was doing some digging, took my nerd-dom to a new level and found the world of customized controllers. Wow haha...there is some seriously crazy stuff out there. This site has a "controller builder" where you can put together exactly how you want it to look. Of the sites I looked at they also seemed to do some of the best work: https://thecontrollershop.com/

Pedal conversion?
[Image: 927438_282197208639796_1078859132_a.jpg]

I also didn't realize that you can buy controllers with custom chipsets in them that allow you to do stuff in games like BF and COD that you can't normally do, or that are very hard to do. That would make sense why some players would own so hard with quick scopes in the later COD games when they mostly nerfed it.

This drops in two days so I will probably scoop it because it's different. And it costs the same as a regular controller, not $150-$200+

I understand the meaning behind your west coast hipster vernacular, I just don't see where you are coming from Tongue

It looks like it has looked for a long time, other than the touch pad in the middle and the speaker. I honestly think it looks less clunky and bulbous than the XB1 controller:

Aside from the aesthetics which are subjective, it is IMO far superior in every way, except for the control sticks which take more pressure to click and keep clicked. Some also complain that their thumbs slip off of them but I haven't had this problem at all. Apparently the XB1 sticks drop in as a direct replacement if it really bothers you.

There's the problem... cause they didn't get it right the first time. The left stick is out of place IMO.

...and I've still lived on the east coast longer than you have.
