A little pricey, but a keyboard that can pair to iOS, windows, and android? Would be cool for a multi device user

There's a better one out that does the same thing except it has a dial to switch between three devices. So you can use it on two devices kinda at the same time and it's only $50. Although i didn't click this link so idk what pricey is on that one

Most bluetooth keyboards can control any of those. :dunno:
I would guess the only "story" here is that Microsoft made one

Can you pair other keyboards to 3 different devices at once? I don't know. The cheapo HP keyboard I had could only be paired to one device at a time.

i've been hoping to find a pair of BT headphones that will pair to multiple devices. go find me one JP
ah ok I see, simultaneous pairing for 3 devices. I didn't get that, the use case for that just didn't cross my mind.

i use a bluetooth logitech at work, and im suddenly jealous of simultaneous pairing. I had to buy a USB switch to go between my macbook and my alienware and it's laggy when you switch - takes about 10 seconds for each system to recognize the change over.

Ok, that is kinda badass. I've been thinking about a keyboard for my iPad so I can dick around with code without taking my laptop with me. Would also be nice for PS4 messages.

And it's probably more universal than MS one in that although the MS one says that it "holds" all tablets, i bet all but the surface fall over. That's typically how MS does stuff. And if it was Apple, anything but an iPad or iPhone would be an end user agreement violation and it would share your cloud photos all over the Internet for it.

is it just 3 different BT transmitters in the keyboard that power off/on with the switch? would be cool to have key combo to switch device
I like the dial design personally. Don't have to remember key combos or anything but I could see how if you work with computers and keyboards all the time, it might be ok for you guys

Can someone recommend to me a good wireless router that doesn't completely suck? I bought a nice Netgear one less than a year ago and it is already a disaster. Our townhouse is three levels so it needs to have pretty broad coverage and I need it to have the ability to send outgoing hardwired connections. TIA!

Seems like they make them pretty disposable now a days. I hear people saying routers last like 2 years max. I have an old linksys wr54g thats been going for around 14 years now. Needs to be reset sometimes once a week, sometimes not but once a month.
I was running the newer linksys model up at school and it worked ok but idk if it was super fast or how long itll last. It was the low profile black one though.

I used to do a ton of research on routers and then be pissed when they still died in 2-3 years. I finally resolved myself to buying one that had resonable specs, decent reviews, and was relatively cheap. This is what I just picked up about a month ago.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
Most reliable router I've had for the last 4+ yrs was, surprsingly, my mac mini. Not a lot of range though, so in our new house I got a Buffalo N300 because it came with DD-WRT pre-installed and was ~$45. Range is more than sufficient, even outside. I've only rebooted it once in 2mo and I'm not even sure it was the problem then.

My next router will be one of these:

There are some others on the market that have more options for configuration/security/etc, but from everything I read the apple just works and the range is nearly as good as anything else out there.

I've had a few AirPort stations (upgraded from one that did G speed to the dual-band N a few years ago) and they have been supremely reliable.

Thanks for the suggestions. I do not have any Apple products in my home, would that thing cause havoc with my Dells / Androids?

It might make them slightly more smug
