Does the TV have an audio out (optical maybe)? Couldn't you just run that from the TV to the receiver?

Has optical out, but it is only linked to the CATV/DTV input. I do have an Analog output I can utilize I guess.....

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
Hasn't made it here yet. Still waiting on the internets too. We have been too busy sending all of the douchebags to the west coast. It has been a hard battle but we think we only have one more, and then we are finished.

Quote:Model Number: H2G2-42.
Wasn't "42" the answer to life, the universe, and everything in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?
And H2G2 is an abbreviation given to the book, as well as the name of a website dedicated to making a guide to life, the universe, and everything.
We see what you did there, Google. Your clever nerd humor will not be lost on us!
Call us speculative, but it appears Google thinks this device is the answer to life, the universe, and everything.

I can't really see much use for that on a personal computing device, but that could be incredibly useful for clean-rooms like the one Stephanie works in (you can't touch anything non sterol)
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

I wouldn't mind using it to replace the mouse that always falls off my recliner when I'm using my laptop as a media PC. Just being able to wave my hands to find movies, open, close, pause, etc. would be much better

samsung tvs have that built in now, and since you have an xbox, you could plug a kinect in and also get that functionality.

I use my TV as a computer monitor. I don't think Samsungs control my computer. Also, I don't have a Samsung.

Decided to go Android and picked up a S4 over the weekend. So far I don't think the adjustment will be too tough UI wise. I've used Android off and on since Honeycomb and the wife has a Nexus 4. I like that Android offers up a bit more customization, but I am kind of regretting not just ponying up the money and buying the Google Play edition. All of this carrier bloatware is a bit annoying. Might have to try rooting it at some point.
The screen kicks ass and I'm liking having all of this extra screen real estate over my iPhone 4. Haven't played much with any of the whizbang S4 features (Air Play, Smart Scrolling, etc) but I'll probably dick around with them this week.
It took a long ass time to charge the phone fully for the first time, something like 4 hours. Hope that was just an anomaly. Either way I'm really gonna miss the blazing fast charge time of my iPhone.

Most of them are gimmicky. I think the best one is being able to read texts by hovering over the message in the list. This way I can see the whole thing, but not mark it as read, so I remember to respond to it later.

I look forward to your long term roadtest review. I will probably buy one for anne soon and Im strongly considering one myself depending on how the nexus 5 turns out.
Also, have you looked into seeing if you can flash it with the GPE build? The at&t version is the same as that except with one of the (tmo specific) radio bands disabled.
Supposedly bootloader is unlocked on the T-Mobile edition (which is what I have). Maybe trying the GPE build won't be so bad.
