Well ya know you could leave tomorrow morning and avoid worrying about all of that. They are calling for 60mph winds around here. I don't know about NOVA, but driving with a trailer in that sounds like a pretty stupid idea.

Owning a trailer and race car is a bit more difficult timing wise than many people think. Can't start a race car and try to get it in a trailer between 9PM-9AM. That is, if you are halfway respectful to your neighbors). Can't leave a trailer with more than 2 wheels parked on ANY street in Fairfax County. (and bad things happen, my last trailer got smashed). Also the idea of leaving $70k+ worth of truck/trailer/race car/equipment on a street makes me extremely nervous.

Now if we actually see 60-100mph winds, I may just have to drive out to summit Friday to work, then head back home friday night, pick up my truck in reston, pick up my trailer in dulles, go back to reston to load up, then out to summit.

I hopefully, and highly suspect that the storm will be less than "people FREAKING OUTTTT" suggest.

Nah I have expanded out to kid sizes yet because I'd have to get a whole 'nother screenprint done in the different size. Might be able to do it at some point though.

soo.... how was it? Turned out not going was for the best as my neighborhood got wrecked thursday and we were without power 'till sat night. I spent most of fathers' day weekend chainsawing 3 large uprooted trees and who knows how many limbs forming piles of impassible, spring-loaded-trap brush until the chainsaw seized up. :?

I had a great time as always... was super exhausted by the end of yesterday. Hyperfest itself seemed to run pretty smoothly. Didn't see anyone get tased (or arrested, even) but still enjoyed "the people of Hyperfest" wandering around. This year seemed to feature some really "interesting" tattoos. My favorite was a Toyota logo with devil horns on some dude's chest.

Got to drive the Miata on Sunday a bit. Updates coming in my project thread for that. Was great to have it back on track!

Props to everyone involved in making the weekend run so well. NASA-MA is good people :thumbup:

Awesome awesome weekend, aside from multiple friends losing their cars/engines. Oldt/Talastas both lost their motors, Khoury totalled his gts2 car, Briddell had his car damaged; and then others like Gagliardos new Spece30 rolled, the guy in the yellow s2000, guy in the fairlane. It was very bump and grind.

Unfortunately it is the risk we take racing. Although it put a downer on some events, it was the best weekend racing I have ever had. I will put up a recap of the races, but needless to say I had to put on my a-game racing Mike Skeen in GTS2.

i'm dead on my feet... when i left at 5am this morning for work it was a little tough. it put a little fire under my ass more parts on order... i'm going to need to schedule a wrench day

What happened with Khoury's car? I heard about it but didn't see any pics. Also I have over a thousand photos, if you want something of your car post your email and I'll email all the pics that I have. Navin sorry I guess I missed HPDE 2's. Next time I'll give you over a hundred photos of the hondur.
