he has some formula... it has to be.
A guy did an ITR dyno reclass... no swap, just had so many little bits on the engine that it added up too much.
ITR is 185hp/2350lbs TTD* (i'm not even sure that fits in the TTD power to weight)
my shorter wheelbased CRX has to be 5hp less and 100lbs heavier... for some reason.

So lets talk spring rates and swaybars, Kaan, Navin, Mikey, RJ input. I think I would rather have this geared to Track but still somewhat competitive for AutoX.
Will likely be ordering GCs with Custom Rates. I saw a AutoX only Del Sol running 1200lb springs in the front, and HPDE cars running in the 650/700 range????? What are your opinions, the only street duty this will see is to and from the event until I can grab a trailer.
Sway bars....
AutoX guys running no sways, HPDE guys seem to be running a ITR front and a 23-24mm rear. Thoughts?
The car has Koni Sports, right?

Yes
400/500, ITR swaybars. Will be a little pushy but there isnt much you can do until you start spending more $$ on shocks.

if i revalved the koni sports what would you recommend? or should i just get away from Koni all together down the road.
I think my race car was 850/900, stock LS front bar and big huge speedway style bar in the rear.

Motons, Penskes, or JRZs = End Thread.
No but seriously Konis are good shocks, but expensive to rebuild (150 a shock) Way better than anything under 2 grand though. And honestly, its for that last little TEEEENSSYYYY bit that youll go for much higher end shocks. Yeah I am definitely glad I spent my money on motons, but im ultra-competitive, and im going for Nationals and trying to break track records. My bilsteins/H+R combo was enough to do 98% of my lap times. The worse tracks and roads, the better your shocks need to be.

Drive it first... see what you think you need. the CRX is not an EG in this department. where RJ's integra was running 850/900... most ITA crxs are running no more than 600/500... with a big bar in the back. some integra nred (not rj) told me i'd never get use out of the HooHoos with under 600lbs springs... i guess he just doesnt know the chassis.
not many people in the honda world go past koni shocks. especially on the older cars. its just not worth it.
I'll talk to Helms and see what he is running. its not koni since he's got KW giving him money (i think), but i can get you spring rates (not street friendly i can promise) and you can see how hard core you really want to be.

gonna be hard to get a feel for the spring rates i need with the current springs on the car, since they are like 310/275
yes... they definitely need to go. don't even think about going to the track on those. you will bottom out everywhere.
my notebook is in the glovebox. my setup was very nice... folks with a lot more time on track than i said the car handled perfectly. would at least be a good place to start. i think 2 of those springs were in the spares box i gave you. the other two were trashed.

Plan is to sell all the springs, except the 600lb ones assuming they will work with the 2 GC sleeves, to keep as spares. and did they ever send you the replacements for the broken springs?
ya, pretty sure i sold them.

I'd say around the area of 450/500.. try it and see how you like it.
If you're up in my neck of the woods, or August Summit (i plan on signing up, but we know how that goes)... you could drive my car with higher spring rates + swapped UCA's.
I would not swap the UCA's. I tried it, and it affects the bumpsteer curve. The car doesnt need more caster anyways.

True - could be personal preference. I tried it for one track day (which i was dealing with other issues). From the limited time I got that day, I liked it personally. Initial turn was great.
hmmmmm.....
