Official MM Firearms Thread
My Crossbreed Supertuck came in the mail on Thursday and I've been working on breaking it in and finding the most comfortable place to carry it. It comes with four adjustments on the front and four on the back. I originally tried to adjust it to where the front was lower than the back and angled the grip towards me but I could never find a comfortable way to carry it. So I set it to sit lower on my waist and level and it's very comfortable. I paid the extra $15 for the horsehide because it's supposed to be better for hot climates and people who sweat...and i've been known to sweat. It squeeked a little when I first got it but a treatment with some leather conditioner fixed that. I've worn it everywhere since I got it, my PF9 is completely concealed and it's incredibly comfortable whether I have a shirt tucked in or just a t-shirt on. The kydex holds the gun very snugly and I can even hold it upside down and shake it a little and the gun won't fall out.

That is a sexy holster. How much was it and where did you order from? I paid like $10 for my tuckable Ace holster but it is so uncomfortable I just use it as a pocket holster. Every day my PF-9 just gets dropped in my pocket.

I won't lie, it was a bit on the pricy side for a holster, but if I'm going to carry something everyday, especially with a shirt tucked in, I consider it money well spent. It is $69.95 for cowhide and horsehide is an extra $15. Having worn both (the cowhide just briefly) I'd say it's well worth the money to get the horsehide. It's softer, wears in more quickly and looks better. There is also an option for a tactical cut which I didn't care for. It takes about 4 weeks for delivery because each holster is handmade when you order it and it comes with your order number and name on the back.

Buy it here: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/Holsters/IWBInsideWaistBand/tabid/56/CategoryID/1/List/0/Level/1/ProductID/1/Default.aspx?SortField=UnitCost+DESC%2cProductName">http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/Holsters/IWBInsideWaistBand/tabid/56/CategoryID/1/List/0/Level/1/ProductID/1/Default.aspx?SortField=UnitCost+DESC%2cProductName</a><!-- m -->

EDIT: Almost forgot, it comes with a lifetime warranty. If the Kydex ever gets loose and you can't tighten it by heating it, or if you ever change carry guns, you can send it back and he will change the kydex to your new gun free of charge.

so sexy rexy and i went to the gun show today.

i'm torn between a p226 tac and the m&p9. think i'll go for the latter since it's a few hundred cheaper and who needs to go for near top-of-the-line on their 1st pistol?

name (included) + options i want - price
p226 tac (4 20rd mags, tac grip, night sights) - 1k
p226 (2 15rd mags) + tac grip and + 2 20rd mags - 945
m&p (2 mags) + "necessary" trigger upgrade shit + 2 mags - 600

thoughts?

M&P gets my vote. I love the Sig, but I don't love it $400 more.

The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

If Operation Overlord were planned by you we wouldn't be Madison Motorsports. More like Rommel Rollenmotorsporten.
