That's really low budget for a car that is that desirable, expensive and rare.

No, not at all. It's expensive rice.

Man, I don't know who's ass any of you all have been looking at, but that car does not define two cheeks and a crack by any means.
The PROBLEM

Re: ugly Nissan.
I agree that it is ugly, but it is a period specific modification that was pretty common of the day. Maybe there isn't any room inside the bumper, or the bumper design didn't have another opening below the metal bumper bar. There appears to be another cooler inside the front bumper on the original pic that Zisa had.
I have a DVD where they told the history of the Nissan Skyline and the early track footage of the original skyline showed every single car lined up at Suzuka with an oil cooler like that, outside the bumper.

I want that. So hard. SO HARD.
The PROBLEM
let me get that DVD please

I don't think the oil cooler outside looks horrible, if done right (aside from, you know, the obvious risk of putting your engine's lifeblood out as the first thing to get mangled in any sort of collision). IMO, the first Sklyline pic just looks like crap b/c the plumbing looks goofy; the second one looks much cleaner.

No talk of the coming Fiat 500 on here yet? Weird...I think its my new favorite small city car (read: only one I care about). Looks cool, has character, probably a blast to drive.
This thing
So clean...my favorite whitey.
Somebody was talkin about these the other day and I found one I really like:

has anyone ever actually seen a big rig like those on the road though
the black one yes, but the custom painted and madmax one no,
Isn't the Chrome Shop Mafia shop on 95 or 85 w/e in NC? Those guys who had that show Pimp My Truck? They did some cool stuff but then got all Pimp my Ride and shit messed it all up.
That show always confused me.
Do these poor down on their luck 50 year old truck drivers really care about 2 12" subs bumping charley daniels in their backseat?
If that show was realistic, they would make their sleepers comfortable with a TV, buy fix their chairs to drive in, 4 new tires with wheels, and a solid tune up with a full tank of gas and they would probably get the most grateful reaction footage possible.

don't you mean 10 new tires and wheels...., and yes I agree, put a comfy mattress in the back, satellite TV and a stripper pole and im good.
