so the guy says the fasteners aren't on his end and i am 100% sure they didn't ship. he gave me a good deal on everything, but am i wrong to ask for him to pay for half of getting all the mounting hardware new?
the way he's been wording his responses sounds like he thinks i'm the one that's SOL. maybe i'm a good seller, but if something like this were to happen on something i sold, i'd be all over remedying it. shit, i sold a part for the vfr on ebay a few weeks back, but it took me over a week to ship it out. it was only $10, but i felt i hadn't held up my end of the bargain... i shipped it with a $10 bill.

So I finally got a hold of ASR and they're shipping all the missing parts for $35. I told the seller, but am not keeping my fingers crossed that he offers anything.
And then Butty Club. "We don't have that bolt any longer." Fucking christ. Luckily I have my nifty bolt measuring tool at home. Mcmaster-carr has some stuff that will work for dirty cheap... Might as well replace all 4 shock mount bolts with beefy stuff while I'm at it.

Joy. The screws (flathead) I need for the upper mount are M10x1.25 at 40mm length. McMaster only has M10x1.5.
Hopefully I'll get home and find I erroneously wrote 1.25...

Just use 10x1.5 (nylock) nuts on the top of the shock mount (inside the car) instead of the stock 10x1.25's
I'm pretty sure I have some if you want me to look. You'll have to buy a box of 25 or 50 from mcmaster.

DIN 7991 refers to coarse pitch only from what I've found... Or at the very least, it insists on M10 being 1.5.

no, they won't seat correctly since the mount has a conical taper. i'm considering just going that route, but i think i'd rather just throw another $65 for a fully new mount than risk safety.
