Working... or a "flag trainee" according to Laura. Kinda excited, have no idea what I'm doing but that's why it's a trainee position. She said I get free lunch and dinner but no pay the first weekend I work. What's the deal with hotels?

i will be a trainee as well. still i dont care, i LOVE VIR and it will be a good learning experience. I will be working the april summit main event as well.

Laura rarely puts people with people they don't know. Its easier to put the MM people all together anyway since you'll all probably be arriving at similiar times. The worst part of this event is that the hotel is a smidge farther from the track because all the Danville hotels are booked from the NASCAR event.

I might be put in a different room if I work Friday again also though. I would love to see current mmers in the same room but we will see!

Oddly enough I got a court date for 50 in a 35 that thursday before the track on the way to VIR so ill be definitely working friday!

You'll be lucky to find any hotel rooms for this event. As I said before it is a NASCAR weekend in Martinsville. Your best bet is to crash on the floor of a room that workers are in. But if you are working the hotel room is free.

reason i'm asking is because jessica is going to come with me to experience an event for the first time. so i don't want to be working while she is not...does anyone have some floor space we could sleep on?

Can I share some floor space in a worker room with someone, or does anyone have a room reserved I can split?

Car is on jackstands, it has a fair amount of work left to be done, it's not having the rust shaken off 6 hours from home (or however far it is), and I have a race the following weekend. I'm shooting for Summit in late April.
