2000 Ford F150 XLT - $9800
118k miles, 5.4L, auto trans, 4x4, off-road/tow package, rhino linings bed liner, ABS, CD, power locks/windows, prodigy trailer brake controller.
I bought this truck 2 years ago to tow my racecar, and with the racecar long gone I want to get something with 3 pedals and better gas mileage. I only towed with it a few times last year but it tows really well - will tow at 70+ no problem at all. Truck had 88k on it when I bought it, and was under factory warranty to 100k. Soon after I bought it the dealership did some work on the truck - new alternator, balljoints, rebuilt the rear end and a few other small things. Truck has always had regular oil changes (every 3-4k) and transmission service (last one was 02/2007). I have all of the service records back to ~60k miles, will have to look to see if I have more past that. New Rancho shocks installed on the front (rears still in the box). Nearly new BFG tires (stock size, 265/70/17). Spark plugs, fuel filter, brakes (front pads/rotors/calipers, rear pads, fluid), air filter and coolant all changed at 100k miles. This truck is in great shape, never abused, mostly highway miles - no body damage, never used for construction, no off roading. The truck has not had a single problem since I've owned it.
