I hereby lay claim to the brakes, wheels, and tranny.

Actually I'd love to do this event if Geeser 2 would be together by then but its suspension still sucks and I still need to put a new block in it. Either way I'd love to be there.

I've been to snowshoe several times and that road up the mountain is fun as shit. The times I've driven it it was covered in snow though.

"Parade Down The Mountain
During breaks in the racing sessions we will parade all cars that wish to run in the session down the hill from the paddock to the starting line. We will then close the road to start the timed runs, once the last car runs up the mountain we will then open the road to take a break and parade the racers back down. "

Type-R parade?

Well Ryan has said he'll be driving like a pussy, so he'll probably get a quicker time during the parade down the mountain, than he will going up for his runs.

I was thinking about participating, but it is just too far, and will be too expensive and risky.

I dunno, $140 ain't bad. The risk is proportional to how hard you're pushing. If you treat it like a spirited mountain drive where you can use both lanes its probably not much riskier than going down the chute at Summit...

I'd seriously do this if the Geeser were together but unfortunately that'll have to wait till next season.

Yeah, $140.00 isn't bad at all. I am just factoring all that would be spent through the weekend (lodging, food, gas, etc.), and the fact that I would have to purchase a couple items in order to participate. True, the risk is proportional to how hard you are pushing it, but the fact that this is a competition might push me a little more than HPDE's do. Also, runoff area doesn't seem to be existent in the turns on that mountain road
Looks like a blast though, and I may participate in a hillclimb in the future.

Aww, come on Ryan, let me use and abuse the Arrr.

Are you going to the hillclimb Ryan? It still is tempting for me, but I think I will wait till my skillz and payroll increase. I need a truck, trailer, and more $.

Only difference is when you hit the sides you don't bounce back on the track and keep going damage free Wink
