the one piece that MIGHT have been usable was sold on eBay. MIGHT = big stretch when I want the bike to look as if it were never in an accident. i'll fully disclose to the buyer the shape that it was in, but i want it to look better than when i bought it.

You'll need to ride it a little longer than that to really give it a charge... take it out on the highway for half an hour or so. Bike batteries are unbearably small and they tend to lose charge a lot more quickly than cars. And you know, VFR electrics suck, so expect them to go even more quickly!
