i love the vfr to death... i don't really look at it as an upgrade, but a change since the vfr is really heavy and parts are hard to come by... it's plenty quick...

new gauges come in today. my old ones could have been repaired, but it would have involved a lot of plastic weld and soldering. i don't know if you can even solder the little paper things that the wires run on so for $200 i might as well get a new (used) one. i'll swap my odometer over and all will be peachy.
remaining: tires (if i keep it), windscreen, headlight (repair or replace), upper left/right cowls (super hard to find and 450/ea new), headlight surround, mirrors. i may just end up going with the race plastic front from air-tech. it's only $217 as opposed to the $400 i'll end up paying for the plastics i still need... ![[Image: 3VFR1C%7E2.JPG]](http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/images/3VFR1C%7E2.JPG)
