Rex and I were glad we came out for a little while at least. We rode pace for Autobaun race and talked to a few people. We have decided not to go to Raddy's homecoming in order to go to the track. So we'll be seeing you all in October.

Great weekend for me as well. Good weather, no car problems, a few fun offs. Found a 325e to play with in my group, a real cool guy who was gearing up for SpecE30, we had a blast despite probably being the two slowest cars in the group. Didn't know people could ride along in HPDE3 now, so I took full advantage of that sunday. Sunday afternoon I showed Chapin the airborne, hit your head on the ceiling, fun through the gravel "line" at the top of 3, and my lack-of-skill, no-ABS braking down from 95MPH into 5... er... sometimes into the grass method. Grass was wet and track surface was damp in spots sunday morning, so sorry I was too chicken to give you the same death-ride Pete! :lol: (although we did get to watch a mustang drop a wheel into a lake on the entry of 3, drenching us and the track and proceed to spin into the gravel in front of us-- fun!)

Thanks to those that worked the weekend! MM in grid, tower, tech, and VA Tech guys in various spots and stuck on corners as well!

Never said being married was chump-like. Just cause others aren't ready for it doesn't mean that being married makes you a chump. Just like three good friends who aren't ready for marriage living together isn't chump-like.

i dont think i ever got integra pads from him. and i used to bring spares to the track, but not since i got the miata. i dont have room for any spares in that car.

I got used hawk blues from him after we burned up a set of P+ in a day

I fit spare pads, 2 sets of rotors, tools, jack, jackstands, towels, brakecleaner, tarps etc all in the miata when i drove it to the track.
And thats nothing compared to what Gerry Chan fits in his caged car.

oh yeah, but i dont think i ever used them. and we burned up those P+ in a day because you had bedded them in during your first session and the brakes had about 30 min to cool before i went out on track. when i got home from that weekend, the right front pad was down to the back plate, the rotor had several grooves in it that were atleast 1-2 mm deep and the caliper was seized. atleast we got some cool pics of that rotor glowing orange at dusk going into T5

i had my spare street pads with me, but theres no way i can get my jack and jackstands there. i already had my clothes, helmet bag and cooler taking up most of the space
