Y'all are such divas. "Wah, the door gaps are too big. Waaahh, the body panels flap around too much. Waah, this thing doesn't have enough brakes. Waaahhh, I don't wanna get burned alive." If you gonna buy a kit car you're gonna have to learn to live with compromises.

The Great Hate™ has been seething and bubbling its way back to the surface lately. It would be so nostalgic to see it break through on the forum so that I can grab some popcorn with Michael Jackson and watch the fireworks. Mostly because the other forums I'm a member of are dead / dying

All I have to say is: I'm glad the Cobra and Daytona coupe were already designed for FFR.

I have no plans to ever buy a kit car. Therefore I am allowed to hate on panel gaps.

Now back to your regularly schedule rants.

You're all a bunch of assholes and those hood vents are fucking gay. I bet they didn't even put an undertray on it first.

In all seriousness though is that a 996 911 door with a 1st gen miata door handle screwed into it?

The panel gaps are shit. The front suspension is a shit show. It still looks like a cobbled together mess with a reasonably attractive in small photos on the internet shell on it.

I really want to like the idea of being able to build a mid-engine 300hp kit car but the execution gets a C+

Gaps are great for going faster, right? Like, more cooling? Downforce? Adds like 10hp per inch of gap. That's why all those Civic hatch guys don't worry about getting a body shop to install their new bumpers and fenders. All that symmetry fucks the car up
