Heading up with the fam early on Sat and they will probably leave after a couple hours. I plan on staying for a little longer for photos, spectating, and grilling.

What's up Friday night? If yous guys want a place to hang and throw back a few and maybe go for a swim I can offer up the hacienda for a few hours. I'm only about 10-12 minutes from the Hampton. We have some beers and a killer margarita recipe left over from the last partay. I do not have an endless amount of delicious cheap wings though.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...

I am a fan of beers and killer margaritas. We've ended up at Buffalo Wild Wings on past Friday nights at Summit, but we could make our way to your place after that! Would sure beat sitting in the hotel.

I was going to talk to Steve tonight, but maybe order a bunch of wings, pick them up and go over there? I know Cassie would love to take a dip in the pool if its not raining, and im up for some beer and wings.

Potentially making an appearance saturday late afternoon/night to possibly stay over and leave sunday AM early.. Still cleaning shit out of my house for the move to the new place.. Might be able wrap it up early, drive to Hyperfizzle and pop bottles with MM(crash in jeep).. then drive home for Fathers Day....

DJ & Cabell, sounds like a plan for all of that. We have floor space in the MM rooms, Cabell, if you want to crash there instead of the XJ.

Just FYI im bringin a cooler if anyone needs some space, cause it will only have Casey and My beverages in it, also threw in a table for good measure. See some of you in the AM.

Also, anyone coming to JUST SPECTATE on Saturday, due to all the congestion and non-NASA people @ Hyperfest, you CANNOT get to the paddock like on normal race weekends, you need a Paddock Pass. I know I have an extra that is spoken for, but be sure to have someones # who is working or look for me/Jake/Rex when you get there on a golf cart. We can get you back to the paddock, or you can walk but you'll prob have to park your car somewhere else though.

I'd be in for some wings! not going to Hyperfest though, kind of feel weird since I've gone for the last 4 or 5 years.

Talked to DJ last night (thanks again for the press access) and you are all more than welcome to pick up your wings and bring them over to the house. I usually get home around 6:30 so anytime after 7 will work. if you want to take a dip in the pool, bring your suit. I planned on putting some heat in the pool for the weekend so it should be tolerable. Limited sun and relatively cool days do not make for a naturally warm pool.

102 Stone Ridge Ct

From B-dubs:
Exit the parking lot near the honeybaked ham store making a left.
Stay straight on that for a few miles, you will leave civilization for a brief moment, those from NOVA may want to bring their passport.
After going under the bridge for Rt 37 you will see a blinking yellow light intersection, make a left on Jones Road.
Follow that for about 2 miles and look for the entrance to "Stonebrook Farms" on the right, Stonebrook Road. It is just past the entrance to Stonebrook Racquet Club.
Follow Stonebrook to the end and make a left on Greenfield.
Follow Greenfield straight through the 4 way stop and about another .5 mile to a right into Stone Ridge Ct. (Google will tell you the road name changes to Old Forest Circle and it does, but don't turn right onto Old Forest, do not pass go, go directly to Stone Ridge Ct)
Second Driveway on the right, come on down the driveway. Do not hit the fat retriever, he is good, aim for the little brown and white one.

...and thus ends another Hyperfest. Great, great time this weekend and very glad to see so many MMers at the track!! I even enjoyed being Chris' Bitch, which Laura found surprising. Nobody was tased this year (from what I could tell) but I did see someone do a little slidy-slide action in a drab green Miata and get yanked from the car by the popo. Almost as good Smile

Thanks to Maeng for the track ride, and for not hitting the deer that crossed the track in front of us as we touched 121 mph. Venison by VTEC is not on my list of foods I enjoy. Hopefully I'll get TehRollBarz purchased and installed in time for the August event at Summit.

Props to Steve and his family for hosting us on Friday night for some drinks. We had a great time and you guys have a sweet house. Thanks again Big Grin

As always, it was amazingly fun to see everyone and be at the track again. I was totally exhausted at work today but man was it worth it. Especially since I didn't clobber that doe.

You're welcome, we love to host and enjoyed having you guys  If "Burn it Down" has to go on permanent hiatus maybe Summer Splashdown can find an August date.

Never made it out to the track, sorry to miss everyone and the grillin'. Can't wait to see the vid on the deer crossing Confusedhock: .

During one of the sessions on Saturday (Advanced group, no TT on Saturday), I was chasing a GTR around the track (not bad for a 4-banger!). Turn 10 is a fast right hander that I like to use as a great way to pass people. Well, just as I was getting on it and boost was building, three cars ahead of me decides to slam on the brakes for a white flag (wrong response) which causes a near-4-car pileup. Right in front of me was the GTR and I darn near bought myself a GTR bumper.

Here's the video that driver put together. I just sent him my in car perspective so maybe he'll compile them all soon.

More to come!
