Took the car back in for them to hit the spots they missed. They ended up doing a full wash, and redid the entire interior. Car looks great. Hurray for businesses that care. I'll be taking the GTI to them later this week for a pre-sale detail. They're going to throw in a free engine cleaning. Hurrah.

Memory seats didn't work after detail, but I assumed that was due to me having the back seats down (was hauling bike, which I should note fits without taking the front wheel off). Went on vacation for a week, returned, and sure enough, memory seats still not working. The control is getting power as the OFF button lights when pressed, but no movement when you gt in the car or hold the buttons and the set button doesn't do squat. All fuses checked out. Guess I'll schedule an appointment at Audi for next week.

Do you live near the Audi dealer? The worst part of owning an CPO Audi for me was the half hour drive to the dealer every damn time something went wrong.

Dropped the car off this AM and just picked it up.
They reset the "convenience system" and the seats are working again. They also said the trunk bulbs were out (why did the sensor only tell me once and also have a horrible noise associated with it?) so they replaced those. I was going to go LED to match the rest of the accessory lights in the car, but easy button...
Weathertech mats just came in. Aww yeah.
Also contemplating a roof rack versus hitch. We may get a [very] small boat (think: aluminum w/ 25hp) so the hitch could serve double duty and we wouldn't have the wind noise of roof rails. Hrm.

I had no complaints about the hitch on my Subaru. I didn't transport bikes nearly as much as you, but I did 200 highway miles with the thing and had no complaints.

Hitch on the Subaru as well.
With me getting a little more into biking I went with a hitch rack (Yakima Ridgeback 4) over a roof mount cause I was worried about having enough room for 2 bikes and my roof box with the stock cross bars. The hitch allows me to run my hitch basket if needed, and I am thinking of picking up a small 4x6 HF trailer, so the hitch seemed the best route. If you get the right hitch you won't even notice it, all you can see on mine is the receiver, I am a fan.
Difficult to find a hitch that looks good. This does not: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGj0lelWnPg. Not finding much other than that :/

Car has been cleaned three times in the past month and I know everyone likes pics.
And the mats are amazing quality. I'd prefer without a logo, but oh wells:
Chose to not get the trunk mat because it has a standing lip when you fold the seats down, which we do often. NBD because the trunk doesn't get half as dirty and is infinitely easier to clean.

Got a legitimate "nice wagon" yesterday. Awwwwjyyyeeeeaaahhhhhh.
I really want to lower this thing... It almost looks like an SUV at stock/non-S-Line height. I bet I could get it done during the day and the wife wouldn't even know?

Until she pulls in a parking spot with a concrete barrier and thinks she has enough clearance to get the wheels right up to it but instead hears lots of snap/crackle/pop from as your bumper is lodged on the other side of the barrier.
Ask me how I know.
She hasn't driven it enough to be comfortable with front clearance yet.
So you're saying I should do it now?
