ahh how did you know which autox, I havent told anyone.
2020 Ford Raptor
2009 Z06
1986.5 Porsche 928S
Considering its the only other auto-x in Virginia going on next weekend and the only one on a Saturday, narrowed it down pretty significnatly.
EDIT: Still plenty of spots left for anybody else who wants to auto-x.
Notes: VMP is a terrific venue with a TON of room for course design. The layout was quite technical and I was definitely not prepared for it. We all got 10+ runs which was fantastic but I was actually tired and not really concentrating by the time the last few runs rolled around. Four trailered corvettes showed up with huge r-comps... needless to say they rolled everybody there by about 2 seconds. I ended up with the 8th fastest time and 2nd in Class B, one of the trailered vettes was in my class somehow. The gap between his car and mine in 2nd place was 4 seconds . I believe I had the fastest street tire time but I'm not positive on that one, as NASA classes so differently than I'm used to. Was a fun course and had a good time getting rolled. Still trying to get the alignment issues taken care of for rear camber and I can safely assume that I have a lot of room for improvement. Overall the experience was A+, although I am a bit dissapointed in my performance. Thanks Jon and the NASA team for putting that event together. Unfortunately all of this auto-x is just spurring me on more and more to get the car on the track in the not so distant future.
Thanks for coming out! That was a fun day. The course was more technical than usual but still plenty fast. I liked it, but I had a few issues adjusting to the new setup on my car (long story.)
You did great, congratulations! IIRC you were 2nd fastest on street tires; Feinberg's CRX was on Azenis and he's ridiculously quick:

Don't sweat the Corvettes, they're all fast guys on Hoosiers (i.e. in a league of their own.) The other 'Vette in B was the blue C4 Grand Sport, driven by Jason Lisner (who also roadraces his silver Diasio D962 with NASA.)
Thanks again,
Jon

Feinberg may have been on R-comp's - I'll find out, but for some reason I thought he was on Azenis or similar. He's fast as nuts regardless. Here's the in-car from his best run (56.4):

You're right about the "defy physics" Corvettes. Especially Junior in the black C5 Z06. Just amazing stuff to watch.
Thanks again,

Awesome video. After watching that video I can see spots that I could have improved my times by setting up differently. I tried a few different approaches and believe I picked up considerable time through the slaloms but the back half of the course and the back sweeper was definitely a time killer for me as I couldn't really figure out an appropriate/fast line. :?
