Inflammable isn't dumb, people are. In inflammable/flammable's case, flammable is the "dumb" word, but it's not really dumb either, just its usage.

Etymology: From Latin inflammare with the suffix -able. inflammare comes from in + flamma with the suffix -are. It means that something has the flame (flamma) within (in).

The fact thtt most people can't use it right doesn't make it dumb. The fact that they changed the word because they were too dumb to learn their own language is.

That shouldn't be any indicator of how well I can follow a conversation. I was making the point, if you didn't catch it that, after three years in the environment field, with a bachelor's degree, no one makes 125,000$. :roll:
