BRR-SCCA PAX Shootout and College Challenge Sept 24-25th
#21
It's shaping up to look like a fun weekend. We'll host some sort of cookout/ festivity Saturday night (24th) with all the other clubs who come up. I'm getting really good feedback from other schools so far. Registration will be on the BR SCCA site and shirts will be done entirely through MM.

We are still working out the design, ETA: This week at the latest. Might recycle an old MM design and spice it up but we have something possibly in the works.

This should be pretty awesome. I'll be there both days. I was going to try out some new toys on my car but I'll keep it STS legal for the sake of our pax score.

You guys have the shirts in a Smedium? Kidding, put me down for a Large shirt.
Last year was amazing so I hope this year will build on it. Remember, last year we got 3 out of the top 5 spots and 6 of the top 10's.

Registered for both, Ray it wouldn't let me register a number lower then like 104, so I did 999. I'm assuming 104 and lower are for members. But any combo of 9 & 6 works for me, those are the magnetic numbers I have. Sorry to be a pain.

Also on classing I did SM Street tire, but noticed there was an SM FWD, I'm assuming this class hasn't really used in BRR-SCCA?

Nah, we use that class, we've got a few regulars in it actually. I think it started last year or so though so it is pretty new.

If you are an alumni and have a seat that you are offering for a codrive, please text me so I can see how many spots we have and I will find drivers from the new members on Wednesday (540-7three8-0033) that is the MM phone number so you may have it saved already. Only if you have a guaranteed openning for a new student. We will offer seats to them first and then to current members after if everyone agrees.

I think we are working to get freshman (especially those who have never even seen or know what an autocross is) in the cars first which we should have an idea by Thursday if any freshman are interested.

Can I snag a sleeping spot? I can provide beer, cookies, or a car to drive in exchange. I can also bring my own sleeping bag if needed.
