Na bro. They got that tune though. Don't you know you can get prius like mpg with a tune on your diesel? That little programmer thing on the dash. It has settings for power, race, MPG. It's magic.

Well an oil change has been the only successful thing thus far lol.

Justin installed the headunit like a boss for me. It worked great and then halfway on the drive home the lights shut off and stopped outputting sound. The headunit itself is still on I can see the display but there's no backlight and sound. So it's a pro and a con. I accidentally selected this headunit. I meant to get a Bluetooth one. So I'm gonna send this one back and order a Bluetooth one. But in trying to take this one out I ruined all of Justin's hard work cause I broke some of the wires. So now like half the thing needs to be resoldered again. I also need 4 new speakers. These ones suck.

I went to go spray the wheels back to silver. I got some sandpaper thinking I'd just sand down the black, but (I didn't realize this til getting closer) 2 wheels are plasti dip and 2 are actually a dark grey paint. So I started to peel one plasti wheel and it wasn't sprayed on thick enough so it's being a bitch. My dad only has 2 jackstands (like why?!) So I need to buy 2 more and paint stripper, so I can then take all the wheels off one time and just fucking do it.

So everything is postponed and half finished right now. I need 2 more jacks, paint stripper, new headunit, a dash kit, 4 new speakers and some time.

Oh my lighting issue also got weirder. I don't have a front left turn signal, no rear right brake, no fogs. I'm just gonna buy a whole new set of bulbs, relays and fuses and stick em in tomorrow and see what it does. Stay tuned to find out how that will also end up being half finished while I wait for something to ship to fix it.

Supposedly Bug & Tar remover or penetrating oil will break down plastidip so that you can just scrub it off. I've personally seen a guy have success using a rag soaked in diesel fuel (while smoking a cig). Shouldn't be that hard to find something to strip it off.

Have you checked the fuses yet? The E36s can have a bunch of seemingly unrelated systems go down because of one fuse, might just be that.

I'm sorry but that specific e30 was just not gonna happen. That thing had drums in the rear and a crappy fuel injection system.

Tail lights are fixed. I was given the wrong info both from work and the dealership. Lesson: Just go to the enthusiast website in the first place. All confusion was solved 5 mins after googling.

Next is the front left turn signal. The bulb in it looks good so I'll start with fuses or relays. Really I should start with the mess of wires behind the bulb socket itself but I'll go crazy trying to figure that out. I'll start with the easy button. Hopefully it works.

Thank you "The Three J's". It's the little things that make a daily all the more enjoyable and those hookups helped big time.

Next I need to get some better lighting out of the headlights, speakers, trans fluid flush and after driving that 240 for Scott my hunch that either my booster/master cylinder is worn out and tired is confirmed, I'd like to get some pedal feel back.
