We don't normally do anything for v-day but the wifey surprised me with a Kindle Fire last night. I downloaded a few apps, set up my email and it was great to poke around on and play a game here and there. I didn't think I would get much out of something like this but it's nice.
Screen size is probably the minimum for something like this. I think the smaller overall size though will have me taking it more places.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...
Finally got ICS on my Transformer. Feels snappier and looks prettier overall, although I don't like the little notifications tab now, it looks a bit too busy. Gonna have to play with it more this weekend.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
Just got ICS OTA. Everything is AMAZING! ICS SAVES!!!
Seriously though, the look and smoothness is a HUGE improvement over Honeycomb.

Seems like a pretty cool app.
It has three ways to protect your device:
- Remote control through the website www.cerberusapp.com
- Remote control via text messages
- SIM Checker (for devices that have a SIM card): you will automatically receive alerts if someone uses your phone with an unauthorized SIM card
Remote control allows you to perform many operations on your device, like:
- Locate and track it
- Start a loud alarm, even if the device is set to silent mode
- Wipe the internal memory and the SD card
- Hide Cerberus from the app drawer
- Lock the device with a code
- Record audio from the microphone
- Get a list of last calls sent and received
- Get information about network and operator the device is connected to

Nice! I like!!
I just downloaded Blood and Glory from Glu Mobile. It's kind of fun, same company that made gun bros. It's like gladiators battling and there's actually some action to it.

I wouldn't bother with an Android 2.3 tablet. Cheap or not.

had I known CM9 was ported to the fire prior to sellout might have changed my mind though
I thought about buying one for my wife, but I'm really not sold on the 7" form factor. There are a lot of rumors of a couple different sizes coming out this year and I'm hoping a 10" is one of them.
