I finally got a temperature controller for my heated jacket (my last bike had one hard wired). I used it today on the supermoto for my commute. I swear, it's so awesome. It was 33 degrees, true temp, at my house and I was warmer than in my car (well, for the first 10 minutes of the car trip, at least).
That is all.

whats the highest the jacket can get cranked up to?
that's a pretty awesome piece of gear though. i think subconsciously i'd always be worried about it like the old electric blankets....riding down the road and all the sudden your jacket bursts into flame :lol:

This one's 65W (at 12V)... I was conservative when I bought it b/c none of my motorcycles at the time would have been able to handle higher current. They're usually over 100W. I may get a hundred watt'er that fits a little more tightly than the model I've got now (since my BMW has an 840watt alternator, why the hell not?).

I've gotten 3 emails in the last week and I generally average ~50/day.
I didn't bother to take vacation because what I've been doing this week hardly feels like work. I think the only thing I've done is write my Out of the Office e-mail for next week.
