Novitec Rosso Tuning Ferrari 599 GTB:

Set to be shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, Novitec Rosso has created their own subtle styling kit which is true to form as well as function for the already stunning 599 GTB. Increased down force as well as cooling is provided by the body kit consisting of front lower spoiler, side skirts with larger air intake openings, side flaps, rear wing and rear diffuser. As the final styling element, 20-inch type N3 wheels in the front and 21-inch in the rear with Pirelli P Zero 275/30 R20 and 355/25 R21 tires round out the styling package.

For performance, the mid engine 599 GTB gets additional 25hp to 645hp via control unit upgrade and exhaust system with slightly larger 90mm dual tips which are cut at an angle. Top speed increases by 5 km/h. Currently, Novitec Rosso is developing a bigger power upgrade which is expected to be released in 2008.

Handling is improved with an adjustable aluminum suspension manufactured by KW Automotive. Ride height is adjustable by pressing a button. This is a convenient feature for underground car parks or steep driveway aprons. Brakes are specially fabricated Brembo six piston calipers with 405mm brake discs on all four wheels.

Final touches include LED rear lamps and black side indicators.

I just saw that Novitec 599 on Autoblog, definitely hot. I'm not the biggest fan of that car but they certainly improved on it.

Still, I would much rather have the upcoming Vandenbrink GTO, with custom coachwork on a 599 chassis. Only 5 are being built...this car gets me really hot and bothered.

"Pagani, makers of one of the hottest supercars on the planet, have now built an all-out track version called the Zonda R. The Zonda R is not a racer, but rather like the Ferrari FXX, it was built without regard to any rules package. The customer who initially commissioned it just wanted the fastest possible toy to play with on track days and with a 750hp engine derived from the Mercedes CLK GTR powerplant, that shouldn't be much of a problem.

While it looks somewhat like the road-going Zonda F, it only shares 10% of it's parts and has a 47 mm longer wheelbase. The bodywork is optimized for down force, with a longer splitter, larger rear defuser, and more substantial rear wing, among other changes. At somewhere north $1.2 million, this is one exceedingly rare and pricey toy."







Um, that is a LOT of carbon fiber. That thing is going to weigh next to nothing... and with 750hp at your feet I'd imagine this thing will rape.

"The latest information on the Lamborghini supercar is that it derives its inspiration from the Lockheed F-22 Raptor, the most sophisticated attack aircraft in America's aerial Air Force arsenal. As homage to the muse, the cars will be painted gray and fitted with stylized instrument panels. According to Piston Heads, the boys from Sant' Agata (though they mention Modena) have admitted to be building such a car, but now only ten are coming to the US, not the 15 previously reported.

We were there and we can assure you that we didn't see, read, or hear about a Raptor-inspired $1.5 million Lamborghini anywhere near Monterey. We'll all have to hold our breath until Frankfurt, and we cannot wait to see what this thing is and whether it's worth more than four times the cost of an LP640."

Novitec Ferrari F430 Tu Nero

"If modified Lamborghinis arenÔÇÖt your thing then perhaps a tuned Ferrari F430 may appeal. This sinister looking beast is the latest creation of supercar-tuner Novitec Rosso and is dubbed the F430 TuNero. Apart from the all-black paint scheme, the car sports a pair of race-grade superchargers with modified turbine blades and individual oil coolers, an enlarged induction tract with heat insulation as well as new water-cooled intercoolers that are twice the size of the units in the previous SuperSport F430.

Other upgrades include a beefed up water pump, new high-flow air filters, larger fuel injectors and a new air-duct below the chassis. To make sure all the modifications work in harmony, engineers reprogrammed the engineÔÇÖs ECU for optimal results.

The end result is peak output of 707hp (520kW) at a staggering 8,350rpm and maximum torque of 712Nm at 6,300rpm. When combined with NovitecÔÇÖs modified gearbox, the F430 TuNero is claimed to reach a top speed of 348km/h and should complete the 0-100km/h dash in just 3.5 seconds."
