No actually the reason why im painting it is because it was painted Dakar yellow when I picked it up. Yeah....im not running that unless I had a dakar car. So sand, wash, primer, sand, wash, white coat...debating on sand wash clear coat, but do I care? Probably not enough.

No I put one in for COD, see above. Mass Effect I just never really got into. I played the first one for a while bu I have ADD too bad when it comes to video games and I got bored really quickly with it.

Speaking of which, my buddy let me borrow Fear: 2 and Halo 3 ODST. ODST was extremely disappointing, I got bored literally after about 5 minutes of gameplay and turned it off. Haven't had the chance to try out Fear yet.

I'll echo your ODST a little. I liked what they're trying to do, and it does pick up after a mission or two, but it really really feels like an "expansion", not a whole new game, and I found myself wondering why the hell it took them so long to release it. It's certainly NOT worth 60 bucks, but borrowing it from Matt is free, so I'll just use his money to play it.

I admit it: I'm a sucker for a good single player campaign. Multiplayer is fun, but it's not the primary factor in a game choice for me. ODST tells a really cool story (so far) but I don't feel like I'm getting Matt's 60 bucks worth.

I like Forza so far. I thought at first that rewind was kind of cheap, but it really helps especially on those long races where you just lunch out and blow it around one turn and it fucks the past 20 minutes of your time. So many cars in this one too, I was surprised when I had to download 4 gigs onto my hard drive just for extra cars / tracks.
The only thing I don't like so far is that you have to back out of match races to upgrade your car, unless you want to "quick upgrade." I don't see why it would have been difficult to put a link to the manual upgrade section from the racing menus.

The rewind is definitely cheap, but you wont be able to use it in multiplayer (right? NOW that would be retarded) so its just basically to help you win close races where the cars are much faster than you and you just have to nail every single corner right.

Honestly it doesnt feel like that much of an upgrade, I love some of the new tracks, but where the fuck is VIR, seriously. Why make lame new maps (such as Rattlesnake) when VIR exists there for the taking. How about watkins glen? I do like how many tracks are in this one though, and I love Fuji mountain in it.

ROFL, the new chicanes in the old NYC track from Forza 2 are a really interesting touch for the first race of the Mustang series!! Especially when you're racing a single turbo GT500! Biggest unexpected crash I've had so far in the game haha

I'm loving Forza. Don't ask me why, but my favorite car is an IROC-Z. Currently driving the piss out of: '94 Civic, S2000, '90 IROC-Z, '93 Mustang Cobra, E30 M3, and E36 M3. I have a bunch of other rides, but those are getting my attention and money...

What class do y'all prefer? I think B feels like a nice spot.

The game feels much better than the demo... I don't know what I attribute that to.

Yes, I have Borderlands. It's basically a shittier Fallout 3, BUT it has co-op. If you plan on playing alone, it's not much fun. If you play with friends, it's a fuckin' blast.

well i havent had the chance to make it out of the class with my crappy honda fit. bout to start the 3rd series of races when i get home with the 3 door euro cars. But otherwise its great. and from the race screen if you hit the back button it should take you to your garage where you can do the manual upgrades. Pretty sure its that screen or possibly the screen where you select GO RACE.

which about how long i spent racing last night, doing the first "Championship race" when i get home now that i think about it, you guys tried using the "Manual w/ Clutch" option......its tricky, cant get the hang of it.

I always just use automagic, I can't focus enough on shifting gears and stuff with a controller. If I had a wheel / shifter knob setup I would try it, otherwise I just get impatient.

And yeah you should be way past the Fit stage by now I haven't been able to play much but I think I'm level 9 or 10 now... just got a Maserati and a GT500 as awards.

lee, i stopped playing right after i got the gt500 as a reward... don't have a maserati yet.

i play w/ manual, but am not trying clutch. does it add any performance benefit? to me it's like a paddle shifter v. traditional manual... why would i not want paddle? automagic is fuckin' bush league.

Tried the clutch option and is really hard to get used to, great for drifitng an e92 m3 on fuji. I think its meant to help the drifters "clutch kick", but for regular racing, the manual is MUCH better.

I am still way back at the Alfa Romeo, didnt end up getting too much time last night.

The Alfa Romeo is pimp once you mod it out, I'm using it to race in the C class world championships and it's raping STIs / EVOs / etc.
