Who is they, Valentine 1? I know they provide upgrades.
Supposedly this Beltronics model will be forever undetectable, no matter what RDDs come out and no matter what frequencies they scan. The magnesium case acts as a physical shield for the radar detector, sort of like when you put on the lead shirt at the dentist's office. I'd be more skeptical if there weren't empirical tests showing that it works... on each type of RDD specifically.
