Just cause your license is revoked doesn't mean you're prohibited from registering for events.

I guess some people (like This guy, and Ghettoracer and our most recent interweb hero, that iflysolo guy) should just be thrown out and not welcome back. If the offense was serious enough to pull his license and he's put on some sort of suspension (1 year?) then that should mean all events IMHO.

well, you cant really say "you suck at driving, but we are not going to let you get better at driving" since HPDE is supposedly a more controlled and safer non competitive environment at least conceptually there shouldnt be a problem with letting him back to HPDE.

The issue with letting him register for HPDE IMO is that he disobeyed an order from an official, almost ran an official over, and showed disregard for saftey. That IMO should punt his ass out for good.

I don't disagree Evan. Race Director and Event Director made the call. I am sure Grumpy had some say also, I just was not party to the conversation.
