I decided after much research and asking the experts that my goal of 300/300 (that is hp/lb ft)
is possible on a stock Swirl head. My head flows better then a stock G-head so the need to port for super 60 300 mark is not needed. I did however "de berr" the ports...just so I can say I did something :wink: The reality of it is I will likely come up short somewhere in the 280's...story of my life.
But hey, we can't let Lee have all the fun!!

Installed the oil pump and intermediate shaft, we modified the pickup for better flow.
