I realize I dont have a whole lot of room to talk regarding smart motorcycle decisions, but you've got a bunch of people to ride with in the area so you really dont have any excuse not to practice with people around you.
i've tried to ride with people every day since i've had my permit. you know how many have wanted to ride? 0. i'm certainly not gonna get any better sitting on my ass.
