Yes, in a seach of turbo-mopar.com I noticed a post that troubled me...
The thread was about a problem with the TD axels going into the NEON OBX that a few people have had...

They ended up making changes to the design to solve the problem, now that doesn't mean this issue applies to you as more than a few people have succesfully used obx's. But it might be prudent to pull the trans back out, and use an axle stub to examine the fitment more closely.
I hit hondatech and searched OBX. Found a few that liked them, found a few who don't. Nothing surprising there. But the big deal for me is this. A Quaife for my car cost $1200, for the strait bolt in. I'm sure the Neon Quaife is still 1000, and would still require me to hybridize. So I can save...1200-400 = $800 if I take the chance and hybrid my 555/520 together and go with the OBX neon diff. Most people do not do this simply because you must have year-matching 555 and 520 transmissions, which can cost some serious $$ to the point you could have got the Quaife. However, thanks to the Dbag who had the Daytona before me I have an 89 520...for $0.
Oh and Scotty, every time you post in this thread a little ray of sunshine comes down and hits the Daytona...it makes me smile
