Ride defensive.....

I dont think I would ride a bike around JMU all the time - too many people not paying attention (or worse) driving around.

i think it's MUCH worse in Northern VA. Not riding passively but defensively is the key. Sometimes you'll need to hit the throttle or ride on the shoulder to avoid an accident or incident (F the laws when your life is in danger -- not to be taken out of context). Awareness is your friend...i feel bad for this individual...
