I've been talking to Rob from bimmerworld over the past few days about what I want to do, and I'm thinking about actually putting in a weld in roll bar. I have no intention of selling the car, and I actually plan on making it a racecar in about 3 years, rather than buying another track car later. It could obviously run in any bmw club racing events, would also be a very competitive ITS car.
I could actually get a weld in roll bar for significatly less than I thought, and that could later be expanded to a roll cage. It would save me several hundred dollars. Just wondering what some of your opinions were.
